I’m becoming increasingly interested in what happens when everyday materials stop being what they’re supposed to be. Candles become sculpture. Wax becomes structure. Melting becomes part of the making.
Maybe there’s something in that for me too — allowing things to change shape, without needing to know exactly what they’re becoming.
Less arranging. More building, experimenting, letting materials misbehave.
Sometimes it’s about looking at what you already have and imagining what else it could become.
A little colored wire, a spray-painted silk flower, a metal stem. Materials I already had lying around, transformed into something entirely different.
For me, it’s never been just about flowers. It’s about creating interesting objects, sculptural forms and unexpected moments within a space.
Now imagine a room filled with these sculptures. Different heights, different shapes, different colors. A whole world of them.
One little experiment, endless possibilities.
Playing with flowers can be so therapeutic. It’s about working with your hands, being creative and allowing yourself to get into a flow. There is no right or wrong, just being present and playing.

I kicked off the week creating florals for the opening of ’s exhibition, hosted by artist.
Alongside showing her paintings, Franziska curated a dinner buffet that was honestly a piece of art in itself. With so many incredible artists and creatives coming together, alongside, and, the whole evening felt really special.
So happy I got to be a part of it and such a great way to kick off Berlin Art Week.
After 20+ years in fashion, I felt a pull I couldn’t ignore — to work with my hands again.
It happened during a photoshoot. Flowers were involved. Something shifted.
What started as a moment turned into a complete re-direction.
Now I create with botanical materials — flowers, branches, grasses — building installations and environments that sit somewhere between nature and artifice.
I’m drawn to what’s often overlooked. The imperfect. The in-between.
Originally from the US, currently in Frankfurt Germany (but we move to Berlin in August) I collaborate with artists, brands, and spaces to create immersive floral worlds.

After months of planning and preparation, it was truly magical to see everything come together. This project gave me the chance to use not just my floral expertise but also my creative vision and organizational skills. It was an absolute joy to design a concept and bring it to life.
And yes—believe it or not—all the disco balls you saw were handmade! My friends and I created 60 of them, one by one, to add that perfect touch of sparkle and whimsy. Every detail of the evening was carefully considered to make the event unforgettable.
Being part of this wonderful celebration, which encourages support for the arts, was a deeply meaningful experience for me. The arts are something I hold close to my heart, and in a world increasingly focused on individualism, creating an event that brought people together to celebrate community and creativity felt truly special.
It was an honor to contribute to such a beautiful evening, one that celebrated both the arts and the people who champion them.
