My design story starts with my parents. Growing up, we moved an unusual amount. And every time we landed in a new place, my parents had an insatiable appetite for a new project. I grew up on construction sites, listening to the relentless pros and cons of moving a wall four inches, visiting fireplace stores and fabric shops, and boldly designing my bedrooms.
After three careers in non-adjacent things, I finally found interior design. The lightbulb went off, the career that I would finally keep with me for the long haul. My “forever home.”
And eight years into Keeler & Co., that leads us to the story of this really special house. A house that my dad insisted become the next project and one that my parents allowed me to share in. It’s our backdrop for the summer moments - the feet pattering down the hall yelling “Granny!”, long, easy dinners on the porch, the retreat after afternoons in Acadia National Park.
It’s a house with a story. We are the third family to care for it in over 100 years and as we made careful adjustments to it to ensure it worked for us, we retained every possible moment of charm and character, the legacy of what was is now the foundation for all of our summers to come.

Thank you to our talented team who helped to make the details happen. And to my parents, this home is a gift in so many ways - thank you for nurturing in me what has now become my everyday and reason for being. I am this because of you. 💙
