I don't allow her to eat these things, but she knows how to unlock doors, child locks, containers, open doors and break into things 😅
She is also pretty good now, apart from her recent paracetamol tablet that could have cost her her life, but thanks to her amazing vet team, she's still here! Also, I've got a metal storage with lock and key, for anything toxic to cats (mostly medications).
I feel the cats do love the open concept of this litter box, and that it's not too high, and similar shape to their litter tray. As they don't use the other enclosed automatic litterbox (it's a different brand). But they seem to use the PetSafe one the most, out of all the litter boxes I have (I've got like 6 in different parts of the house).
I don't find it smelly either. I do however clean the tray where the waste collects every day, as I like to monitor my cats toileting habits.
I do love how much easier it has become to clean up after my multiple indoor cats. Especially, since my life is often hectic with pets with health issues. That's one thing less to worry about!

Unfortunately Kiko is one of those dogs, who cannot tolerate any meat proteins (I never thought this was actually possible but here we are). I've tried all the meat proteins available in my country (I've tried it all with her elimination diet). She can however tolerate insect proteins.
If she has any meat proteins she gets incredibly sick and has an immune response (and it's not "leaky gut" which many "health gurus" like to label it).
If you saw the pain she goes through a flare up, how uncomfortable she is, the nights with little to no sleep as she's in so much pain, the non stop crying, the days spent at the vet due to being so unwell (this flare up it's been almost a week of fluids), the dehydration, not eating, all the medications to help relieve pain and try to bring the immune response down, the diarrhoea, bloody diarrhoea, colitis, the inflamed and sore digestive system, the pain to try to poop and so much more.
Who knew a small amount of meat protein could cause my dog, to be in so much pain and discomfort. But here we are 😅
