(which has gone viral) is now officially open downtown Geneva – and serving high quality, ceremonial-grade matcha (coffee, too). While I haven’t had the pleasure of trying their matcha yet (make sure to check the cafe’s IG account for updates on whether or not they’re sold out), I’ve heard it’s TDF ✨👌🏼 I’m so happy to have another matcha option in the area, and the fact that the space is this beautiful? Obsessed!

This year started out great! I was so happy to finally say that everything in my life felt like it was starting to go *right.* The few years before had been rough in various ways (moving multiple times, pregnancy, postpartum, etc.). And 2025 seemed to be taking me on a much smoother path. I was the happiest I had genuinely been in a while. It felt GREAT.
…Then I got laid off on the last day of July. Suddenly, everything seemed to spiral downward. It was a devastating blow. I felt nearly paralyzed for a good 5x weeks. The upside? I spent the summer fully immersed in motherhood (while also working extremely hard to find work). I didn’t think it was possible, but my bond with Ashton grew stronger. I had more time for me. I thought – really thought – about what I wanted out of life. I still don’t have a concrete answer, but I’m glad I’m finally asking myself these questions.
I haven’t posted an update in a while. But I did find work at the end of November – more on that later. Things feel good right now, but I know there’s more challenges to overcome and more work to be done. To say the least, it’s been a year of growth and redirection. I’ve thought a lot about who I am and who I want to be. I’m very much looking forward to 2026 and the endless possibilities that await ✨
