It’s almost time to return to Scituate Harbor for our 8th annual Harbor Blooms installation at. What began nearly years ago as a simple idea has grown into a beautiful expression of love, remembrance, community, and connection.
These blooms have held space for so many moments, joyful, tender, and everything in between. They’ve become a place to pause, celebrate, grieve, and gather, a reminder of what can happen when women come together with heart and creativity.
One of the most meaningful parts of this event is the women behind it. What started as a rough sketch over coffee has grown into deep friendship, and over the years we’ve supported one another through pregnancies, IVF journeys, early motherhood, grief, pregnancy loss, adoption, and everything in between. Harbor Blooms has been an outlet for us, just as it has been for the community, holding space for the real, the hard, and the beautiful.
We are honored this year to partner with, a beautiful organization based in Duxbury established to keep Laney Ladd’s memory alive by serving bereaved parents who have lost a young child. Their work supports families navigating the unimaginable loss of a child with compassion, care, and tangible resources, and it aligns so deeply with the heart behind this weekend.
We’re also so excited to see even greater participation throughout Scituate Harbor this year, with more local businesses coming together to add to the beauty and spirit of the weekend, stay tuned for more details!
