Referencing Noah’s Ark, the exhibition is less about rescue than about a world on the brink. Sculptures—ranging from lifelike to uncanny—are installed throughout the vast space, encouraging close, unstructured encounters that feel at once intimate and unsettling.
The animals function as stand-ins for ecological and social vulnerability, pointing to climate crisis and shared precarity, while also suggesting quieter themes of care and coexistence. Set within a repurposed power station near the Gowanus Canal, the show gains added resonance, framing The Ark as a reflection on damage, responsibility, and the uncertain possibility of repair.
Many thanks to the US basesd collectors which have kindly loaned RAVISH and CREPUSCULAR to this phenomenal exhibition

What resonates most is the way human craft is given space here, free from hierarchy or boundaries. Different disciplines exist in conversation with one another, reinforcing the importance of making, and reminding us why it deserves to remain at the forefront.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone behind this true “feast for the eyes and food for the soul” It’s a true honour to be part of such a visionary presentation. The curation is spellbinding, marked by an extraordinary attention to detail, and Dries Van Noten’s remarkable talent shines throughout.
The warmth of the welcome has made the experience all the more meaningful. Being part of this pioneering endeavour feels like a genuine privilege.

Collected from farmers, gamekeepers, pigeon racers, and donations, the people I collect my feathers from go out of their way to keep them aside for me; the truth is, they would otherwise go to waste. Because my pieces use hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of feathers, it's easy to assume that they are sourced quickly and from unsavoury sources. However, collecting the right feathers for the right piece can take years.
In this post, you can read a little more about how I keep my practice as ethical as possible, by sourcing my feathers through personal connections and donations.

So thankful to the visionary Dries Van Noten for curating my work into this phenomenal feast for the eyes at Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice
presents ‘The Only True Protest Is Beauty’ which opened today 25 April 2026.
The Presentation stands as a journey into beauty understood not as resolution but as tension, an intensity that unsettles the familiar and opens space for the unexpected. With a title inspired by the words of singer and activist Phil Ochs, the Presentation invites us to consider beauty not as simple prettiness but as a form of inquiry and a catalyst for reflection, provocation, and transformation.
Set within Palazzo Pisani Moretta, more than two hundred works spanning fashion, jewellery, design, art, photography, glass, ceramics, and material experimentation enter into dialogue with frescoes, ceilings, and the building’s layered histories.
Selected pieces from established fashion houses’ archives are presented together with contemporary textile pieces, underscoring an enduring role as medium of cultural expression and affirming its capacity to generate critical and poetic statements. Collectible art and design objects coexist with experimental works – together forging new directions in sensorial storytelling and material exploration. Moreover, Traditional craftsmanship is showcased alongside innovative international voices, reflecting the Fondazione’s commitment
to both safeguarding heritage and nurturing new talents and views.
Curated by Dries Van Noten, the presentation unfolds as a constellation of affinities and contrasts, where mastery meets discovery and craftsmanship becomes a language of emotion.
