1) After two decades in photography, I’ve realized that the strongest images often come from observing with your inner eye and allowing the story to unfold naturally. It’s less about chasing the shot and more about recognizing when everything aligns — light, space, feeling — and simply being present enough to capture it. That’s what has made me and my work evolve the most. I’ve simplified the way I work, but deepened my approach to observation.
2) In addition, I’ve stayed true to my style, with visible symmetry of elements in my photos. An image always comes together through the landscape, nature’s behavior, and the photographer. It’s always a dance between these factors. The landscape is the canvas, nature creates the artwork, and I add the composition and the subject.
3) Composition plays a significant role in shaping how people emotionally experience an image. I love including a subject to give a sense of space and emotion. I’m also drawn to symmetry and composition because they create harmony — a feeling of peace, subtlety, and calm energy when you look at the scene.
4) I intentionally leave a lot of negative space, because that’s where the emotion breathes. Sometimes, what you leave out of the frame is just as important as what you include. I like to keep my photos clean, removing small distractions that might pull attention away from the subject or disrupt the overall sense of symmetry.
5) Lastly, I also create different styles of photography to stay inspired. One is what I share on social media—travel and adventure–driven—and the other is more commercial, which allows me to separate exploration from execution while keeping my creativity alive across both worlds.”: What principles have helped you evolve as a photographer? 📸⬇️

1) We planned our entire U.S. trip for months and decided to go during the “shoulder season,” when it’s less crowded. However, the weather can be unpredictable at that time, so it’s crucial to be aware of that, especially for safety reasons when driving in such remote and wild areas.
2) Our first attempt didn’t go as planned. After three hours driving through thick mud, a storm hit just as we neared our destination. The car also had a technical issue, and with no signal in the middle of nowhere, we decided to turn back, even though we were so close. It was a tough call, as we were excited to capture this surreal place.
The next day, we explored some nearby canyons, and since the weather was perfect, we decided to give it another shot. This time, everything went smoothly. The ground was dry, and we made it without any issues.
3) We spent the afternoon waiting for the sun to set because that’s when the magic happens. After sunset, the shadows and harsh light disappear, and rocks get these incredible shades of blue, purple, and pink, constantly shifting hues. We had a 45-60 minute window to capture it all before it got completely dark. If we were to do it again, we’d probably plan for more time and even stay overnight to have more chances for photos and to play around with the light.
4) I wanted to keep the shot as minimalistic as possible, focusing on showcasing this incredible creation of nature and us as simple subjects to help people relate to the surreal landscape.
