「皇后献上佐韋祭」は、神武天皇の皇后である、媛蹈韛五十鈴媛皇后（ひめたたらいすずひめこうごう）の御神徳を尊び、皇后にゆかりの深いササユリを御神前へお供えする祭典です。
祭典では、斎主の祝詞奏上に続いて昭憲皇太后御歌「広前に 玉ぐしとりて うねび山 高きみいつを 仰ぐけふかな」に作曲・作舞した神楽「榊舞」（さかきまい）を奉奏致しました。
ササユリは、祭典のため境内にて栽培し当日巫女が摘み取ったものと、篤志家の方より御奉献いただいたものを合わせてお供えしております。
御神前へ奉献したササユリは、外拝殿にて展示しておりますので、御参拝の折に御覧下さい。

祭典では、4月に斎行された「下種奉告祭」で御神前にお供えされた種から生育した忌苗(いみなえ：罪穢れのない清浄な苗）を神楽殿にて奉献し、五穀豊穣を祈念致しました。
奉献された苗は後日神饌田に植えられ、秋の「抜穂祭(ぬきほさい)」斎行後に収穫し、豊穣の感謝を込め11月23日の「新嘗祭」にて、御神前にお供え致します。

林間学園では事前に、科学・歴史・図工・音楽の中から5日間学ぶ教室を選びます。
午前中は自分で選んだ教室に分かれて、それぞれの勉強をし、午後には参加児童全員が集まって総合学習を行います。
自然の中での多くの発見や、巫女さんの神楽舞鑑賞など橿原神宮ならではの体験ができるプログラムを企画しています。
奈良県内のみならず、近畿地方以外もご参加いただいています。

『日本書紀』には、御祭神 神武天皇が東征の際、大和国 丹生の川上で戦の勝敗を厳瓮(いつべ：酒の入った壺）と魚（鮎）を用いて占ったと記されています。
令和6年からこの故事にならい、御祭神に縁の深い吉野の地で獲られた初鮎が丹生川上神社上社を通じて川上村漁業協同組合より奉納いただく運びとなりました。
祭典では、5月31日（日）の鮎釣り解禁を前に成育調査の試し釣りで当日に釣られた鮎約30匹が川上村漁業協同組合長より斎主を通じて御神前にお供えされました。
その後、祝詞奏上に続き、神楽「鈴舞」を奉奏し豊漁・釣り人の安全を祈念致しました。

「初鮎奉献祭」は、岐阜県・長良川の鵜飼開きで獲られた鮎を御神前に奉献する神事です。
例年鵜飼開きで獲られた鮎は皇室へ献上されており、当神宮への奉納は紀元2600年にあたる昭和15年より始まり、今年で84回を数えます。
当日は鵜匠の使者として岐阜県のボーイスカウト役員が初鮎を持参し、漁の安全と豊漁を祈念致しました。

『日本書紀』には、御祭神 神武天皇が東征の際、丹生の川上で戦の勝敗を厳瓮（いつべ：酒の入った壺）と魚（鮎）を用いて占ったと記されています。
また、天皇陛下が御即位を国内外に宣明される「即位礼正殿の儀」の際に立てられる万歳旛(ばんざいばん)には、五匹の鮎と厳瓮が描かれ、大きく「萬歳」の文字が刺繍されています。

「明治天皇紀」には、明治天皇が明治10年に修補された御陵を親拝し、神武天皇建国の精神に基づき政治を執り行うことを思い続けて来たと記されています。
この様な時代背景の中、橿原宮址を調査し顕彰する機運が高まり、民間からの宮址碑の建立や橿原神社創建の請願が相次ぎました。
この人々の思いを受け、明治23年（1890）に橿原神宮が創建されました。
以来、橿原神宮は全国から寄せられる御崇敬の思いにより護持されています。
本展では、創建からの「橿原神宮史」、神武天皇に所縁の深い「布都御魂」を模造した刀剣（延壽太郞國俊が鍛造）、「神武天皇御東遷画 高倉下神剣献上図」等の宝物や紀元2600年宮域拡張整備の際に使用された道具の他、関連史料と共に橿原神宮と人々の祈りについて紹介します。
