And I think that’s so valid. It’s actually quite beautiful to have your people back home who miss you… but I had to deal with conversations that would not come from a place of care and love. Conversations to make me feel bad and guilty for choosing myself.
Hear me out there.. Traveling will always disappoint people in a way. No matter what you do - there will be someone who won’t be as happy for you as others, someone who will be disappointed in your decisions and who might make you feel bad for choosing you.
But you cannot make choices for others..
I have escaped the worst relationships just before I jumped on a plane. An emotionally abusive one with addiction and codependency.
Just now I am learning the aftermath to my nervous system. Experiencing trauma responses and being triggered in ways by new people entering my life.
It is my fucking time to choose myself. It is my time to be happy, to enjoy the freedom after having been trapped for years and to be wherever I want to be. And it always has been like this.
So this is a big reminder to you - but also to myself; the right people will miss you, and tell you they want to have you back home - but they will never make you feel bad for choosing happiness.
We want to see our friends happy. If you can’t see that - then question your intentions in this friendship. 🫂

End of November - I came here with the intention to take a quick break from Berlin and return home latest for NYE. 🤝
I find myself sitting at the Arts Factory. Never have I felt this lonely over the first few days of traveling and I was actually just about to book a flight home - when these two here entered my life and changed everything. 🪐
“FIC* DIE UNION!” The famous written words by in his journal that caught my attention and the rest was history.
Him, and I all met at the same table. little lost. little lonely - so we decided to make every second count and start cresting long lasting memories.
This was the beginning of my Arts family forming.
The beginning of how I found my tribe. 🫂🌙 and the beginning of a way longer journey than expected.

I’m tired of opening the news, the comment sections.. tired of constantly being reminded what we’re up against.🫂
But all women in my life have changed my idea of what it means to be a woman in this world.
I grew up in a really toxic environment.. comparison, competition, eating disorders, body standards, trust issues. All of it quietly planted and reinforced by a system that benefits from keeping us divided.🌱
Being around my girls made me start to unlearn all of that.
I realized that another woman isn’t someone to measure myself against, but someone I can feel safe with.
That softness isn’t weakness, and asking for care isn’t something we have to earn.
I really believe the love we share is so much more powerful than we’ve been led to think.
It’s not fragile or temporary… it’s steady, generous, and real.
A love that was never meant to be broken in the first place.
This goes out to every woman that has been helped me heal the past and showed how healthy love should feel like.
