Gutted to have received the news that this male tiger, named Mahaveer, tragically passed only a few weeks after this, due to an outbreak of Canine Distemper virus. Several tigers have passed with this outbreak, my thoughts are with them and hope the reserve management can get the virus outbreak under control to prevent the loss of more animals ❤️

This is an African Jacana, and it’s actually the male who incubates the eggs and takes care of the chicks. This male Jacana is lifting the chicks up to keep them warm between times spent on the Lilly pads feeding off the little insects that gather there.
An honour to witness such iconic behavior and even more privileged to be able to capture it on video like this since he was so comfortable with our boat and kept of moving closer to us 📸
