“Hiiii I’m Kate, a junior in Kappa Delta, and I’ve been abroad in Sydney, Australia for the past 5 months! To say that this has been the best experience of my life would not even begin to describe it. I could talk forever about the beauty of Australia and the way it has completely changed my life.
Sydney is truly the most amazing place with the kindest, most motivating people. Living in this environment has pushed me in the best way possible. I’ve learned and grown so much and done things I never imagined I’d do. I’ve gone snorkeling in Bali, skydiving in New Zealand, camping with kangaroos in Australia, and so much more. To be able to do all of this with some of the best people I’ve ever met has just been a dream!
Specifically, my KD sister, is my roommate here and has been with me through it all. She is so supportive, fun, genuine, and understanding (just to touch the surface of her energy). Having her by my side has helped make Sydney feel like home and I’m so glad to share all of these insane adventures with her. I would not trade this experience for the world!!!”

I came to IU for school, but I’m leaving with a huge family that overflows with love. I wouldn’t be who I am today without this sisterhood, and for that, I can’t thank KD enough. I didn’t know these girls 4 years ago, but now you’d think I’m attached at the hip to some of them with how inseparable we are. From being part of a Greek family that doesn’t end when you graduate, to moving to a new city post grad with a best friend, moving on from this chapter isn’t so scary when I have these people to make me feel so safe.
