What a fulfilling first season for! As we close of the first of the year, my heart is filled with gratitude and SSD with wonderful memories!
Over 650 safaris hosted by us this season!!
220 safaris personally lead by me this season through photography expeditions, private one to one mentoring, luxury wildlife journeys and curated Savera experiences.
My final safari of this season happened on 30th June evening in Ranthambore with Riddhi and her subadult male cub in Zone 3. Here are a few Riddhi shots, from season closure photo tour!
This season personally brought immense learning, growth, conversations, field craft, creativity, business lessons, knowledge sharing and last but not the least new friends, patrons and business collaborations.
To everyone who joined us, trusted us and became a part of Savera’s first chapter - THANK YOU SO MUCH! ✨
As the forest takes it's three month pause to rejuvenate, I’ll be working on new ideas leaving no stone unturned to make stronger learning formats and remarkable upgrades for the coming season, especially for our patrons who want to dive deeper into creative wildlife photography.
On that note, our 2026- 2027 Photography Tours are now live on our NEW website
Plan early. Travel easy and learn better!!
We look forward to seeing you soon! Cheers!
Forever grateful🙏🏻♥️

There’s something different in the genes of the tigers of Bandhavgarh that sets them apart. The regal look, perfectly rounded eyes, well-defined whiskers, broad faces with thick ruffs, massive frames and those rich orange coats. They simply carry a presence that is hard to describe and impossible to get over!
The stunning Siddhababa sub-adult male photographed during our April 2026 Bandhavgarh Dawn to Dusk Photography Tour.
As I write this, I’m less than an hour away from Bandhavgarh for my final photo tour to this place of the season. ❤️
Every return feels special.
Looking forward to an exciting and rewarding BTR tour. 😊

After seven safaris in Laikipia and seeing Giza twice but only in the dark, our hopes of photographing her in daylight were fading fast.
This was our final morning drive. We had already enjoyed a beautiful leopard sighting pf a big boy known as Ki-Ziwa under golden light and were on our way back for breakfast after one last round through Giza's territory.
We checked the river crossing she often uses. Nothing. As we turned around, ready to bid farewell to Laikipia, we spotted another vehicle in the distance flashing its headlights.
Within seconds, my spotter Joshua shouted,
"Giza! Giza!"
And just like that, everything changed.
What followed was one of the most incredible predator-prey sequences I have ever witnessed.
For the next hour, we watched this remarkable black leopard ambush and successfully hunt three dik diks in succession. She finished the first kill, emerged from the bushes, walked a short distance and then grabbed the poor guy you see in this frame.
Not long after, she made yet another successful kill before disappearing into the valley!
No second chances. No missed opportunities. Just pure efficiency.Moments like these are exactly why wildlife keeps us coming back.
You can spend days waiting for something to happen and then finally when the wild rewards your patience with a sighting you will never forget!!
As I always say,
❗️The safari isn't over until it's actually over😊

Last 3.5 hours inside the Land Cruiser. One leopard sleeping in the bush. Waiting for her to wake up and climb the tree to resume feeding.
Endless photography discussions with. A bit of doom scrolling on. And then suddenly, posts a story with
at one of my favourite
Instant nostalgia!!
That’s when I realised I still had an entire dump of unprocessed RTR images sitting in my phone from the last few tours. Opened Lightroom right there in the vehicle, processed a few frames between leopard yawns and here we are.
Funny how the wild works. You travel across continents chasing one cat and another forest starts calling you back.
Missing the dust, the ruins, the light and the madness of Ranthambhore already.
Meanwhile, our Season Opener Photography Tours are now live:
🐅 Ranthambhore | 30 Sept – 4 Oct 2027 | 7 safaris, Led by me
🐅 Tadoba | 30 Sept – 3 Oct 2027 | 6 safaris, Led by
If you’ve been planning to join us, this is the time. Tadoba permits open next month and the best zones disappear faster than a tiger crossing in Zone 3. 👀
DM if you’d like to join us.
P.S. The Leopard is still sleeping 🙂

Mumbai’s Aarey colony is one of the best examples of humans and wildlife Co-existing with each other in harmony!
This peaceful coexistence is only possible due to the continued efforts by the volunteers and forest department to spread awareness among the locals about leopards. The locals living there doesn’t treat these leopards as a threat anymore and they share common spaces.
Furthermore, the immense effort in installing these camera traps during heavy monsoon last year yielded us this image.
One of my #personalbest and teams best effort till date! Thank you for recognising this:)
