上京してきた人が

世界各国に知り合いはいるけれど、
そういう
“帰っていける場所”は
まだない気がしています。
だから今も、
どこかでそういう場所を
探しているのかもしれません。

I sometimes feel a little envious,
because they have a place

and can meet without effort.
I have friends all over the world,
but I still feel like
I don’t have a place to return to.
Maybe I’ve been searching
for something like that all along.

ここ最近は、子育てと不妊治療に集中していて、
SNSから少し離れていました。
改めて、自分の人生や働き方、
英語との向き合い方を見直しているところです。
私は大阪で生まれ、2歳の頃から両親の転勤でアメリカで育ちました。
ロサンゼルス、シカゴ、サンフランシスコ、ニューヨークで生活し、
現在は東京で暮らしています🇺🇸🇯🇵
その経験が、今の価値観や子育てに大きく影響しています。
今は1人の子どもを育てながら、
第二子の不妊治療にも向き合っています。

日々の小さな幸せ その1🤗
子どもを育てながら家事をしていると、
目で追うテレビを観る時間がなくなってしまったのですが、同じ境遇の方はいらっしゃいませんか？
そんな中で改めて思ったのが、
耳は意外と暇。
ラジオは嫌な家事をこなすときの味方📻
以前から、英語を忘れないように、大学の後輩くんがやっている や さんの英語ラジオなどをちょこちょこ聴いていたのですが（こちらもどちらも面白い！！）ある日ふと（おそらくアルゴリズムで） さんと さんの「なんとん（なんちゃって東京女子）」のラジオがYouTubeに出てきて、
「ん？なんだこれは？」と思いながら聴き始めたら、
今ではすっかり生活の一部になっています✨
バチェラーを拝見してから
インスタやYouTubeはフォローしていたものの、
岩間さんのことをそこまで深くは知らなかったのですが、
ラジオを聴き始めてから大好きになりました😍
ご友人のさきっぺさんも即興が素晴らしく面白い方で、お二人がトークをしているのを聴いているだけで癒されます。

1歳の子どもを育てていると、
なかなか友人と遊ぶこともできませんが、
このラジオを聴いていると
女子会に参加している気分になれて、
ワンオペの日々も頑張れています✊
お忙しい中(海外にいてもキャンプ中でも！)時間を合わせて収録してくださり、
時にはソロ回まで…。
本当に愛のあるラジオだなと感じます。
そしてラジオを通して、
友永慎也さんの人柄の素晴らしさも
さらに知ることができました。
奥さんを大切にされているのはもちろん、
周りの方への優しさも本当に尊敬です。

採卵1回、移植2回を行い、
本日3回目の移植となりました。
今回から不妊治療が自費診療となり、新たなスタートです。
頑張ります✊
これまでは、前回子どもを授かった時の“方程式”のようなものがあったそうで、先生も同じ方法で治療を進めてくださいました。
ただ、その方法では2回着床に至らなかったため、今回は排卵しない方法での治療に切り替えることになりました（保険適用外の治療だそうです）。
おへその下に貼るテープも、保険診療の時は1枚だったのが、今回は一気に5枚になり、かなり驚いています😳

さぁ、今日は慎重に帰るぞ🤭
Since I weaned at the beginning of this year,
I’ve had one egg retrieval and two transfers,
and today was my third transfer.
From this cycle, my fertility treatment is no longer covered by insurance and will be self-funded, so it feels like a fresh new start.
I’ll keep doing my best✊
Up until now, there was apparently a kind of “formula” that had worked when I conceived my first child, so my doctor had been following the same approach.
However, since that method didn’t lead to implantation twice in a row, we’ve now switched to a protocol where I don’t ovulate (it’s a type of treatment that isn’t covered by insurance).
There’s also a patch I wear below my belly button.
When the treatment was covered by insurance I only used one, but this time it suddenly jumped to five at once, which really surprised me😳
Let’s see how it goes.
When you’re going through fertility treatment, it can be hard to talk to people around you, and there are times when seeing other people’s happy posts on social media just hurts.
