So here are 5 habits i am trying to bring into my life this year…
1. Waking up early (5 AM club, trying ☺️)…What I have realised is that when you have a purpose, waking up early becomes much easier…i usually work out in the evenings, but this year I want to try morning workouts so I actually have a reason to wake up early and start my day with discipline.
2. Meditation was very on and off for me last year…This year, I am trying to make it a daily thing even if it’s just 10-15 minutes just to slow my thoughts & ground myself..
3. Mindful eating (still my biggest challenge 🥺): I will be very honest…this is the one I struggle with the most…When I am in a proper routine, my eating habits are great but the moment my routine breaks, my eating goes completely off track so this year, I really want to build a healthier relationship with food….It’s going to be tough (especially being a foodie😅) but I’m trying..
4. I have realised I start a lot of things but don’t always give myself the time to go deep…This year, I really want to stay consistent with my learning instead of starting & stopping.
5. I don’t usually scroll much, but i am trying to stay off my phone for the first 30 minutes after waking up & the last 30 minutes before bed….And when I do scroll, I want it to be intentional…consuming less & creating more.
