今回はMCとして大会に参加させていただきました🎤
この期間は、普段の生活を完全に離れて大会に100％集中する毎日。もちろん自分のトレーニングはほとんどできず、食生活も乱れ気味。毎日長時間座りっぱなしで腰もバキバキ…。帰国後すぐ仕事に戻ることを考えると少し怖いくらいです😂
でも、こうやって誰かが時間やエネルギーを使いながら支えているからこそ、このスポーツは成り立っているんだなと改めて実感しました。
アジア連盟の皆さんと一緒に様々な国へ行き、それぞれの文化やリフティングカルチャーに触れながら、自分の大好きなスポーツに関われていることを本当に光栄に思います。
私が初めてアジア選手権に参加したのは2022年のドバイ。
その時は選手として出場していました。
今思えば、その時の運営メンバーも今とほとんど同じ。
当時は重量級男子の試合が夜中1時頃まで続いていて、「長すぎる〜疲れた〜」なんて普通に文句を言ってたのを覚えてます😂
もちろんその頃は、運営側の大変さなんて1ミリも考えたことがなかったので、まさか自分が今こうして逆の立場で関わることになるとは思ってもいませんでした。
自分の時間やエネルギーを削りながら大会を支えている運営スタッフの皆さんには、本当に尊敬と感謝しかありません。
まだまだ運営としては経験不足で分からないことだらけですが、これから自分にできる形で少しでもこのスポーツに貢献していけるよう頑張ります🙇♀️

I went as a speaker for the competition
I feel like I’ve put my whole life on hold for this event. I have not been able to train or eat as healthy as I want. I stay in a seated position all day every day which we all know is terrible for your back…… and going back home to face work just scares me.
However that’s what people do in the sacrifices that they make in order to keep this sport alive and enjoyable and honestly, I feel so honored to be able to be traveling with the Asian powerlifting Federation and to experience different countries along with their lifting cultures
Most importantly to be able to contribute to something that I love. That’s what matters to me.

Another memorable competition in the books!
Throughout the entire Asian Championships, she has been one of the voices of the competition. The person emceeing the event session after session, calling athletes onto the platform before their attempts, and announcing record-breaking lifts to the crowd to get the whole venue behind them.
SHE IS NON OTHER THAN
A lot of people see the athletes on stage, but there are also so many individuals working behind the scenes to make the championship what it is.
And in the print we gave her were also two other people who continue giving back so much to the community through spotting/loading, and refereeing throughout the competition week.
A small gesture of appreciation for the people helping keep the sport moving forward. ❤️

今回は中国の国立トレーニングセンターで大会が開催されていて、会場の設備もホテルも選手にとって素晴らしい環境で試合が行われています
日本、中国、マレーシア、シンガポール、タイ、インド、ニュートラルなどたくさんの国の選手が参加していますがみんな個性が本当に強くて、これもアジア選手権の面白いところだなって改めて感じます😂

40名程の米軍関係者選手に混ざり、1年2回行われるイベントに日本側からのゲストリフターとして参加させていただきました♪
米軍の方々は日常生活にバーベルトレーニングを取り組んでいる方が本当に多いので、年齢、性別、体重関係なくとんでもない重量を挙げられていました🥹
大会も盛り上がっていて、お互いを盛大に応援している姿も見られました🙆♀️最後にはイベントオリジナルスウェットもゲット✅

Strongirls Strength Festival is an all women’s powerlifting competition, where women can challenge themselves in the squat, bench and deadlift. This competition welcomes women of all backgrounds and experience levels, from first time competitors to experience lifters!
The event has previously been held in cities across Japan including Yokohama, Tokyo, Kansai and Kyushu and the 6th event will be held in Yokosuka Kanagawa on the 12th of July 2026.
