And that is to arrive late. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get there until an hour before sunset which meant lots of crowds and fading light, but I still managed to get a few shots.
But, to take full advantage of this part of Dubai, arrive early and enjoy the morning light and shadows.

Focal length is one of the easiest ways to completely change how a photo looks. As you go higher up in focal length, you start to compress the scene, pulling background elements closer and adding a bit more drama and impact. Go wider and you introduce more depth with stronger separation between the foreground and background, which can make the scene feel more immersive.

When I started out in photography over 4 year ago, I was always fascinated by slow shutter photography, but was unsure of what camera settings to use to get the desired results. Hopefully these settings will help you in getting the long exposures you’re after.
There’s a mixture of trains, buses and cars in this set so it’s a great guide to use. But, of course the results will also depend on how fast the moving subject is moving.
