I still can't believe that I did it! 💪😂

In just three days, I went from being scared to even snorkel, to obtaining a scuba diving license by the end of our vacation.

A huge thank you to my life partner and diving buddy who helped me through it all. 😂❤️

To be honest, I struggled with claustrophobia during my first dive. At a depth of 12 metres, I had a panic attack after inhaling water through my mouth and nose. I was barely managing to breathe through my regulator, and my heart was racing. Despite my request to go back to the surface, the instructor insisted on calming me down, which added to my fear.

But, after 15 minutes of torture, I finally made it back to the surface and thought I would never do it again.

However, the very next day, I decided to face my fear head-on and won the battle. The aquatic world is simply breathtaking, and I can't wait to go diving again! 🤿❤️

I hope my story inspires you to conquer your fears and explore the beauty of the world.

And a big shoutout to our instructor and photographer for their support and inspiration.

Shoulder pain may be caused by:

▪️Tendinitis is inflammation or irritation of a tendon (Symptoms include pain, stiffness and swelling in a joint)
▪️Bursitis, which is inflammation of a fluid-filled sac (bursa) that normally protects the joint and helps it move smoothly (Bursitis is often caused by repetitive movement or an injury. It can lead to painful swelling of a joint)
▪️Arthritis in the shoulder joint
▪️Bone spurs in the shoulder area
▪️Broken shoulder bone
▪️Dislocation of the shoulder
▪️Shoulder separation
▪️Frozen shoulder, which occurs when the muscles, tendons, and ligaments inside the shoulder become stiff, making movement difficult and painful
▪️Overuse or injury of nearby tendons, such as the bicep muscles of the arms
▪️Nerve injury that leads to abnormal shoulder movement
▪️Tears of the rotator cuff tendons
▪️Poor shoulder posture and mechanics (second exercise will help you to fix it)

Here are some tips for helping shoulder pain get better:
✳️Put ice on the shoulder area for 15 minutes, then leave it off for 15 minutes. Do this 3 to 4 times a day for 2 to 3 days. Wrap the ice in cloth. Do not put ice directly on the skin because this can result in frostbite.
✳️Rest your shoulder for the next few days.
✳️Slowly return to your regular activities. A physical therapist can help you do this safely.
✳️Taking ibuprofen or acetaminophen (such as Tylenol) may help reduce inflammation and pain.
Rotator cuff problems can be treated at home also.
✳️If you have had shoulder pain before, use ice and ibuprofen after exercising.
✳️Learn exercises to stretch and strengthen your rotator cuff tendons. In this video I showed you my favourite ones!
✳️If you are recovering from tendinitis, continue to do range-of-motion exercises to avoid frozen shoulder.
✳️Practice good posture to keep your shoulder muscles and tendons in their right positions.

FEET,DIAPHRAGM AND PELVIC FLOOR connection.

In the human body, we have 206 muscles, all of which are surrounded by a special type of tissue called fascia. Think of fascia as a type of “saran wrap” that connects every muscle in your body together — from bottom to top.
( looks like that goo between the skin and the flesh of the chicken )

🫁 👣
Not only does fascia connect your feet to your pelvic floor, but fascia also connects your pelvic floor to your diaphragm (a critical core muscle that impacts nearly every muscle in your body). Yes — this means that everything from your core to your feet is connected to the way you breathe.

There are 12
myofascial meridians in common use in human stance and movement:

Superficial Front Line
Superficial Back Line
Lateral Line (two sides)
Spiral Line
Arm Lines (four)
Functional Lines (2:front and back)
Deep Front Line

We are taking about DEEP FRONT LINE today as that’s the one which connects your feet, pelvic floor and diaphragm.

It passes through:
Arches of your feet
Your knee joints
Adductors (the muscles on the inside of your thighs)
Pelvic Floor (core muscles and ones that help you go to the toilet)
All the vertebrae of your lower back
Hip flexors (the muscles that lift your legs up)
Diaphragm (breathing)
Muscles of your neck

📹Watch exercises in this video and you’ll find out how to feel that connection between your feet,PF AND diaphragm while lifting weights!

Do these best moves in order to:

1️⃣ IMPROVE MOBILITY,
REDUCE your hip and sacrum pain!
Mobility is the ability to move freely, without being inhibited by stiffness or stress. Mobility is linked with joint health and helps seniors avoid the loss of strength and stamina that can accompany aging.

2️⃣ STRENGTHEN your DIAPHRAGM
Deep breathing techniques also teach you a proper breathing which stabilize your blood pressure and slow the heartbeat.

3️⃣ STRENGTHEN YOUR PF (Pelcvic Floor) muscles & REDUCE PERIOD CRAMPS
Even if you don’t have children it’s important to train your PF muscles, it’s good not only for your health, but for sex-life,too!

Stay healthy ❤️

Back muscles & cable crossover machine 💪

✅Kneeling Dual Cable PULLDOWN
Primary Muscles Used: Lats, rhomboids and traps

✅Half Kneeling Cable Single Arm Lat Pulldown
Lats,rhomboids and traps

✅ Standing Single Arm Low Cable Row
Lats,teres major and minor

✅Cable Bent-Over Reverse Fly
Rhomboids, Rear delts

✅ Standing Single Arm Cable Row
Lats,traps, rhomboids

❓Upper middle or lower?

Even though the lats is a single muscle, in fitness circles you’ll often hear trainers refer to the upper, middle and lower lats. This is because different areas of the lats are activated more or less depending on the movement as:

✔️Upper Lats: Movements that involve shoulder adduction. Wide grip lats pulldowns are great for targeting the upper lats.

✔️Middle Lats: Movements that involves horizontal abduction of the shoulder. Rows are an excellent exercise to hit the middle lats.

✔️Lower Lats: Movements that involve shoulder extension. Lat pushdowns are perfect for hitting the lower lats.

❓How to adjust your cable height to target different parts of your trapezius muscles

✔️By adjusting your pulleys to their highest level you will primarily target the upper fibers of the trapezius muscle. By pulling the cable attachment towards your upper chest or neck, you are engaging the upper traps and helping to improve shoulder stability and posture.

✔️When you bring your cable a bit lower, somewhere in the middle and by pulling the cable attachment towards your middle chest or upper abdomen, you are engaging the middle traps and helping to develop overall back thickness and width

✔️ Low cable rows: This exercise targets the lower fibers of the trapezius muscle. By pulling the cable attachment towards your lower chest or stomach, you are engaging the lower traps and helping to strengthen the core and hips.

I have a few available slots from mid September… DM or hit the link in bio 😘
All my clients have my 100% support … I’m teaching them how to become healthier and stronger, how to build new life changing habits and stay motivated💪

Now let’s talk today about losing muscles and how to avoid that while you are on a weight loss program 💪🍏

❇️Weight loss isn’t just about how much you eat—it’s about WHAT you eat, too. A 2016 study found that when people went on a low-calorie diet for four weeks, those who ate more protein (2.4 vs. 1.2 grams per kilogram of body weight) lost 27 % more fat (10.6 vs. 7.6 pounds) and gained eight times as much lean muscle mass (2.6 vs. 0.22 pounds). That’s because the COMPLETE protein found in foods like eggs, poultry, dairy, and meats offers all nine of the essential amino acids your body uses to build and maintain muscle. If you’re not getting enough protein, you’re not giving your body the building materials to build muscle efficiently.

❇️When you are on your loosing weight program (I don’t like word DIET)
you don't want go below 1,200 calories a day, because then you also start to break down muscle as well as you get that metabolic adaptation (prehistoric process that signals our bodies to slow metabolism to avoid excessive weight loss due to food scarcity. Many people have experienced the frustration of not being able to lose additional weight once some initial pounds have been shed.)

❇️When you severely reduce calorie intake, the body holds onto fat and turns to muscle stores for energy, which can slow your metabolism too!

YOGURT, fruits and seeds 😋 and what is polyphenols 🤔

Swipe to see what yogurt I love. By law, anything called "yogurt" must be made from a few common ingredients: milk, of course, plus two species of bacteria called Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus. (Those are the essential ingredients; yogurt can also include other bacteria)

I love adding berries, chia and flax seeds to get some POLYPHENOLS ❗️❗️❗️

❓What they are: Natural compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Types:

1. Flavonoids
2. Phenolic acids
3. Lignans
4. Stilbenes

❗️Foods rich in polyphenols:

• Fruits: Berries, grapes, apples, pomegranates, citrus fruits
• Vegetables: Artichokes, spinach, red onions, cabbage
• Nuts and seeds: Walnuts, almonds, flaxseeds, chia seeds
• Whole grains and legumes: Whole wheat, oats, black beans
• Chocolate: Dark chocolate
• Herbs and spices: Turmeric, cinnamon, oregano, thyme

Benefits: Protect against oxidative stress and inflammation, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and support brain health.
