In this forest photography workshop, weâll explore both the intimate and the grand scenes in the forest and by the sea in the evening light: here, the delicate structures of a fern leaf; there, the wind-sculpted pine trees by the sea, all of which can be captured through the lens. Kai Hornung, known for his touching and intimate photographs of structures, colors, and patterns, and Yvonne Albe, who skillfully captures forests and trees in unique lighting conditions, invite us to discover the forest through photography from a variety of perspectives.

Digging into the archive to see so many images still waiting to be picked up. Working on my book and looking for images that fit, is fun. A bit like a time travel.
Then again itâs what I do usually: have images sit and wait.
Later, I ask myself: why?
The answer to it is often the key to the soul of the image. My reason. My truth inside the image.
I love it when people tell me what they see inside such image. Their truth. Their interpretation. Images become communication then.
Some images lose it over time. Some images I am even almost ashamed of after years. And a handful stand the test of time. This one hasnât lost its meaning for me and still stands as one of my personal top 3 (donât ask me what the other 2 are. I donât rank my work. I am only reluctant to say, itâs my favorite image because you donât say that about your âbabiesâ;)).
