We can hardly believe it. Kafiex Roasters has been named Roast Magazine’s 2026 Micro Roaster of the Year.
This journey started with nothing more than curiosity and a love for coffee. We didn’t even know awards like this existed when we began roasting. What we did know was that we wanted to create something meaningful to build community, to learn, to teach, and to grow through every cup we served.
Over the years, Kafiex has evolved through local markets, long nights, national competitions, and countless shared moments with people who believed in us. To now stand among the roasters we once looked up to it feels surreal, humbling, and deeply personal.
This award isn’t just ours.
It belongs to every coffee producer who trusted us with their harvests, who shared their knowledge and stories from the soil.
It belongs to our local community in Vancouver, WA those who showed up from day one, who believed that something small could grow into something extraordinary. You’ve shown what happens when a town stands behind a dream.
It belongs to our mentors, friends, and family in coffee the ones who guided us, challenged us, and reminded us that excellence means sharing what you know.
