I played my last baseball game over 2 years ago. At that time, I didn’t know it was my last one. (The last video is my last at bat of my career). I just knew I was going to give myself a year off and see what else life could bring. If I missed the game, I would have gone back to the grind, but I didn’t. There was hope for a chance to play overseas as well, but that never came around. So, the cleats are hung up for good.
I came up short. Didn’t make it to the show. But I’m proud of my career and that’s something I might not have said a couple years ago.
