Selected from nearly 200 entries worldwide, the finalist was chosen by the panel members as one of the Top 10 Emerging Global Filipino Icon 2026 contenders. She distinguished herself by becoming the first Filipina and youngest Filipino to visit all 193 countries using solely a Philippine passport, while turning that personal milestone into sustained community impact through digital literacy programs, remote work initiatives, and cultural advocacy for Filipinos globally. Her work spans travel, entrepreneurship, and grassroots empowerment, with initiatives that have benefited OFWs, rural youth, and local communities in the Philippines.
Through a rigorous panel discussion, the finalists will be further evaluated to determine who will be declared Emerging Global Filipino Icon 2026 during The Global Filipino Icon Awards 2026 on January 31, 2026, at Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai.

Started my year eating 12 grapes on New Year’s Eve while cruising in Thailand with my mother and grandma, not knowing I was quietly stepping into my year.
A year that took me everywhere - from quiet moments to life-changing milestones.
Proud to have booked some of these journeys with, now officially Asia’s Best Travel Booking App at WTTA 2025.

Honestly, I started by securing the holy grail of long-term visas: 10-year US, 10-year Canada, 10-year UK, plus a 5-year Japan, a 1-year Schengen, and a 2-year Australia. After that, crossing borders felt a little less like a telenovela plot twist.
But if I could rewind my life? I would’ve gotten a UAE residency from the very beginning.
Most of the embassies are literally in Abu Dhabi and Dubai - even the remote countries in Africa & Pacific.
It would’ve made things so much easier.
Instead, I spent 12 years grinding through global bureaucracy with a Philippine passport.

Our courtesy call with the President of the Philippines at the Malacañan Palace and also the same day that President Marcos signed Executive Order 86 - Authorizing the Issuance of Digital Nomad Visa in the Philippines. 🇵🇭
As many of you know, I am a Digital Nomad.
Last January 7, 2025, after almost 13 years of nomadic life, I finally accomplished my goal of visiting every country in the world—193 UN member states—using solely a Philippine passport.
Yesterday, the President recognized this very rare achievement - a feat that less than 500 people in the world has accomplished.
Collectively (and officially) called “The Filipina Travel Legends”. I’m very grateful for this milestone with Tita Odette Ricasa (the first), Tita Luisa Yu (the oldest) and me (the youngest) Filipinas who visited all 193 UN countries.
We attended the meeting together with the book author of Gala, Don Bales Jr. who arranged our visit. The four of us wearing PIGAO (by Alex Pigao).
Also present at the courtesy call were Tourism Secretary Ma. Christina Frasco, Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Cacdac, and Commission on Filipinos Overseas Chairperson Secretary Dante “Klink” Ang II.
Thank you GOD and thank you Universe.

From my very first international flight in 2009, when I left the Philippines to work as an OFW, I knew my journey would lead to something bigger.
The dream of traveling the world became my ultimate goal. In 2013, I made the bold decision to quit my corporate job and pursue it full-time.
After 12 years of challenges, sacrifices, and unforgettable experiences, I finally made it to my last country: Sudan! My journey was never easy, but I held on to the belief that my dream was possible.
Today after getting verified by with my travel credentials / claim achievement, I’m beyond proud and grateful to announce that I’m the first woman from all developing nations (low passport index country) to visit all 195 UN countries using only my Philippine passport! 🇵🇭
Thank you Lord sa pagbless sa buhay ko.. all in your right timing! The best is yet to come. ❤️
