Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin in Platinum 26521PT.YY.1220PT.01

The timeless Royal Oak is revisited with this beautiful blue sapphires edition, showcasing the ability of Audemars Piguet’s artisans to give life to new gem-setting and dial combinations.

The octagonal bezel is set with 32 gradated baguette-cut blue sapphires (for a total of ~3.65 ct.) on a 41 mm platinum case adorned with a smoked sunburst blue dial with «Tapisserie Evolutive» pattern. A beautiful visual delight, complementing the sapphires on the bezel and giving an impression of radiating energy from the tourbillon core (cage) at 6 o’clock. Another fascinating feature of this wristwatch is the extra-thin case, at only 9 mm - a real prowess from Le Brassus which is most welcome on a platinum casing. The dial is fitted with applied white gold hands and hour-markers for a popping contrast and legibility amongst the dazzling display.

Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback is the self-winding Calibre 2924, an in-house movement demonstrating exceptional finishing with Geneva stripes and finely beveled edges, alongside the 70-hour power reserve indicator and the tourbillon escapement.

This eye-catching timepiece will sit securely on your wrist with the 950 platinum integrated Royal Oak bracelet and AP folding clasp.

Beating in resonance: the F.P. Journe Chronomètre à RÊsonance RQ

The present timekeeper is the only wristwatch in the world that uses natural physical resonance without any mechanical involvement. An incredible achievement, this explains why the Resonance is often considered the master complication of François-Paul Journe, highlighting his genius.

The highlighted model is a 40 mm platinum case with a rose gold dial with hour sub-dials in whitened guilloché silver with clous de Paris. All hands are in the familiar ‘FPJ’ blued steel.

The beautiful symmetrical dial features a double time display, one with a 12-hour counter and one with 24-hour, with seconds sub-dials below each. This is all accompanied by a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. The crown at 2 o’clock is for winding the watch in position 0 and adjusting time on both displays in position 2 depending on the direction. Meanwhile, pulling the crown at 4 o’clock resets both small seconds.

The new Chronomètre à Résonance has a single barrel that provides force to the two separate movements. This is made possible through the differential - visible in the center of the dial - which transfers the energy towards both secondary gear trains. The torque received by both balance springs is linear thanks to the constant-force mechanism (“remontoir d’égalité”) of each secondary gear train.

The movement powering it all is the Calibre 1520 – replacing the 1499.3 used in the previous version – composed of 378 parts and 62 jewels. Behind the sapphire crystal caseback, one can admire the high-quality finishing of the rose gold movement: Geneva stripes on bridges, polished and beveled screw heads with chamfered slots, and the baseplate decorated with partial circular graining.

A leather strap fitted with a platinum pin buckle completes this magnificent timepiece in a combination – platinum case and salmon dial – that garners consensus amongst the watch collecting community.

Bringing to you the Rolex Day‑Date 36 reference 128395TBR‑0018, an Everose execution that marries the iconic ‘presidential’ watch with high jewelry flair.

The 36 mm Oyster case is made of 18 ct Everose gold and brings a monobloc architecture with a screw‑down case back. A bezel fully set with diamonds frames the composition to add an extra luxury touch, showcasing the excellence of Rolex gem-setting.

The dial is a very coveted striking turquoise tableau enriched with precious stones. Each hour marker in 18 ct gold is set with 4 diamonds, while the Roman VI and IX are set with 11 and 13 diamonds respectively, making time-reading both legible and ornate. And of course, the Day‑Date’s signature instantaneous day at 12 o’clock, and date at 3 with a Cyclops lens.

Inside, the Rolex manufacture calibre 3255 delivers approximately 70‑hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer precision of −2/+2 seconds per day. Besides its dazzling appearance, the watch also allows for stability and reliability in daily wear.

Completing the watch is the 18 ct Everose gold President bracelet and a concealed folding Crownclasp for smooth comfort.

The present watch is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Flying Tourbillon in Sand Gold, reference 26735SG.OO.1320SG.01 – a fusion of avant-garde design and material experimentation housed in one of the most iconic cases of modern watchmaking.

The 41 mm Royal Oak case and integrated bracelet are crafted entirely in Sand Gold, a new 18k alloy developed by the brand – merging gold with copper and palladium – whose finely brushed and polished surfaces create a soft, refined glow.

The openworked movement also adopts the new alloy for the mainplate and bridges, while other smaller parts are covered in rhodium, enhancing the skeletonized dial’s depth. Applied white gold hour markers and Royal Oak hands, coated with luminescent material, ensure sufficient legibility against the busy backdrop. At 6 o’clock, the flying tourbillon takes center stage, its absence of a top bridge allowing an unobstructed view into the beating heart of the movement.

Powering this radical timepiece is the self‑winding Calibre 2972, an in‑house movement combining a flying tourbillon with automatic winding and a robust 65‑hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire caseback, the calibre reveals traditional haute horlogerie finishing within a contemporary architecture, with various kinds of brushing, meticulous anglage, snailing, and chamfering.

On the wrist, this bold watch is as much a piece of wearable sculpture as it is a timekeeper.

The present watch is the Cartier Privé Tank à Guichets in platinum, reference WGTA0236, a contemporary revival of Cartier’s 1928 “Tank with Windows” rendered to exacting modern standards.

The platinum case measures 37.6 × 24.8 mm and a remarkably slim 6 mm in height, with the crown re-positioned at 12 o’clock in the spirit of historic examples (as opposed to the 2005 CPCP re-editions of the Tank à Guichets featuring a ruby-set crown at 3 o’clock). Time is displayed digitally via twin apertures on the brushed front: a jumping hours window at 12 o’clock and a “dragging” minutes window at 6 o’clock, with burgundy Arabic numerals on white discs replacing the hands. Each aperture is framed by a beveled, mirror‑polished rim finished with movement‑style anglage, underscoring the piece’s jewel‑like precision.

Powering the watch is Cartier’s new in‑house, manual‑winding caliber 9755 MC, an integrated jumping‑hour movement with approximately 42 hours of power reserve. True to the model’s dress‑watch purity, the movement is housed behind a solid back.

With its ultra‑slim profile, crown at 12, and crisp digital display framed by hand‑finished bevels, this Tank à Guichets captures the essential modernism of the original while introducing a dedicated in‑house caliber for a definitive, contemporary take on Cartier’s most minimal Tank.

The watch is paired with an alligator leather strap and a platinum ardillon buckle, completing a restrained and beautifully balanced composition.

The Patek Philippe 5004P-033 Perpetual Calendar Split-Seconds Chronograph is a rare and coveted timepiece, part of the highly sought-after 5004 collection, first introduced in 1996 and produced until 2011 in very limited quantities. This particular model cased in platinum and with its black dial with factory-set diamonds was launched in 2006.

The 5004 is an upgraded version of the 3970 Perpetual Chronograph, with an added split-second complication – also known as “Rattrapante. As a matter of fact, it is the very first time Patek Philippe has combined both the perpetual calendar and split seconds chronograph functionalities in the same movement.

The case measuring 37mm is made of 950 platinum. The beautiful sober black dial is set with diamond hour indexes and features 3 sub dials displaying moon phases and date at 6 o’clock, leap year indication along with a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, while the sub dial at 9 o’clock showcases a 24-hour indicator along with running seconds. The 18k white gold hands are shaped in the “leaf” design.

The watch is powered by a self-winding mechanical movement 27-70 Q with 28 jewels and 407 components, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back, and engraved with both the Geneva seal.

The watch is also designed to be worn comfortably and securely around your wrist, with an alligator strap with a platinum folding clasp

From his workshop nestled near the Jura Mountains, we present today a rose gold version of Sylvain Pinaud’s Origine, the now discontinued time-only watch distinguished by exceptional finishing that won the Horological Revelation Prize at the 2022 GPHG.
.
.
On a black dial, time is indicated by mirror-polished rose gold hands set over two sub-dials. The hallmark dial-side balance architecture, central to the Origine’s identity, offers a dynamic view of the free-sprung balance and Breguet overcoil hairspring. Depth is enhanced through a multi-part construction, with raised chapter elements and finely executed rings adding nuance without excess.
.
Housed within a 40 mm by 11 mm rose gold case, the Origine movement is fully conceived by Sylvain Pinaud. Hand-wound, it delivers approximately 55 hours of power reserve at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz). The going train has been specifically calculated for this calibre, while the movement architecture places the regulating organ on the dial side for visual emphasis. Finishing is executed to a high artisanal standard, featuring broad anglage, frosted surfaces, and finely grained wheels throughout.
.
The case, dial, and movement finishing reflect the independent ethos for which Pinaud has become known: high-quality, artisanal watchmaking produced in small numbers with extensive in-house fabrication. Components typically outsourced, such as the hairspring, jewels, mainspring, case, and dial, are carefully sourced from top specialists, while the remainder is crafted in his Sainte-Croix workshop. The result is a time-only wristwatch whose apparent simplicity is elevated by original construction, dial-side animation, and meticulous hand-finishing.
.
A hand-stitched leather strap with a pin buckle completes the restrained, dress-oriented character.

* UNIQUE 1/1 * F.P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain Dual-Tone 38mm

Presenting an extremely rare pièce unique F.P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain in two-tone *Rose gold & Platinum*, commissioned by a sophisticated European collector over ten years ago.

The bezel, case-back ring, crown, and buckle are made in 750 rose gold, while the case band and short tapered lugs are manufactured from 950 platinum – a very distinctive and bold combination for a dual-tone watch.
Its size is also special because it is not the standard 40mm but made by Mr Journe in 38mm for this special order.

The watch itself is the iconic Chronomètre Souverain with its signature dial: a whitened guilloché silver dial with blued steel hands, an off-centered small seconds register at 7 o’clock and a ‘reverse’ power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock (indicating time elapsed since full wind instead of time remaining).

Seen through the sapphire case-back is the magnificent Calibre 1304, an extra-thin movement measuring just 3.75 mm thick, with two barrels delivering 56 hours of chronometric power reserve. The baseplate and bridges are made of 18k rose gold and finished impeccably with Côtes de Genève on the bridges and mirrored anglage, polished screw heads, chamfered slots and a baseplate with part-circular graining and barleycorn guillochÊ.

This unusual rarity comes on a hand-stitched soft calf leather strap, with original FPJ warranty card and box.

Patek Philippe 5070R-014 Saatchi London Edition.

Patek Philippe’s reference 5070 is a chronograph timepiece launched at Baselworld 1998, initially in yellow gold. White gold, pink gold and platinum versions followed in 2001, 2003 and 2008, respectively. This model marked a significant milestone in the company’s history as the first “simple” chronograph since the vintage ref. 1463, over 30 years apart.

Despite having been discontinued in 2009, the watch showcased here is a very rare re-edition in rose gold: reference 5070R-014 introduced during the brand’s 2015 Watch Art Grand Exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London. Only a handful pieces are believed to have been made, cementing the status of this watch as a highly-collectible item. During that exhibition, other ultra-limited 5070s were released such as the 5070P-013 - which we both previously posted.

For the occasion, the regular production silvered dial was replaced with a striking black dial contrasting beautifully with the pink gold applied Arabic numerals and leaf-shaped hands. The chronograph’s dial is completed with a 30-minute register at 3 o’clock, small seconds at 9 o’clock, as well as a minute track and a tachymeter. Other interesting details include the Calatrava cross on the crown.

Inside the 42mm 18k pink gold case is the manually wound Caliber CH 27-70, based on the Lemania 2310 and fully reworked and finished by Patek Philippe. Visible through the sapphire case-back, it bears the Geneva Seal. This movement was later replaced by Patek’s in-house Caliber CH 29-535 PS in 2009. As a result, the ref. 5070 re-edition and other London editions used new-old-stock movements and cases, adding to their rarity and explaining the absence of the Patek Philippe Seal.

A black alligator-leather strap with a 18k pink gold Patek Philippe deployant clasp completes this elegant collector’s watch.

A masterful reinterpretation of the retrograde perpetual calendar is presented in the Patek Philippe Grand Complications 6159G-001, a 2025 novelty. The timepiece is housed in an elegant 18K white gold case measuring 39.5mm. Both the bezel and case-back are adorned with the famed ‘Clous de Paris’ or guilloché hobnail pattern, a distinctive indicator of Patek Philippe and its renowned craftsmanship.

While not exactly a skeletonized movement, the grey metallized sapphire crystal dial provides a semi-transparent smoked view of the underlying movement. The perpetual calendar indications are arranged with artistic balance: a retrograde date is displayed in an elegant arc, while the day, month, leap year, and moon phases are revealed through strategically positioned apertures. Each indication is accentuated by a grey electroplated outline, ensuring legibility, together with the white gold faceted baton-style hour markers and dauphine hands with luminescent coating.

This perpetual calendar with retrograde date is powered by the self-winding caliber 26-330 S QR (for Quantième Rétrograde), providing 35 to 45 hours of power reserve. 368 parts make up this movement bearing the Patek Philippe seal, a testament to the highest standards of finishing and quality by the manufacture’s master artisans and watchmakers.

To round it up, a black composite strap with a fabric pattern and cream-colored stitching is fitted to the case, secured by a white gold patented triple-blade fold-over clasp.
