đ The rooms are chic, spacious, and comfortable. They even offer suites and adjoining rooms that are perfect for families.
đ˝ď¸ We were impressed with the elevated cuisine and loved the convenience of the new onsite Poppyâs Restaurant and Poppyâs Lounge.
đ° Hansenâs Market is the cutest shop for grab & go meals and snacks. Itâs perfect for breakfast on the go when heading to Disneyland, or to pick up some snacks for a game night. They even have the largest Starbucks in any OC hotel.

Here are a few tips from our 2026 tripâŚ
đ° Arrive no later than 7:30 am for rope drop.
đ Go straight to Rise of the Resistance, it usually has the longest wait time of all the rides in the park. *UPDATE: Disney just announced that Rise of the Resistance will be closed indefinitely starting January 20!
đĽ You HAVE to try the Cheesy Garlic Pretzel Bread from Edelweiss Snacks or Mauriceâs Treats
đŤ Skip the Blue Milk from Star Wars: Galaxy Edge Land, itâs not worth the hype.
đ The Plaza Inn meals are the best bang for your buck.
đď¸ It was cheaper for us to buy a separate ticket to Disneyland and California Adventures than to buy a 2-day park hopper pass.
âĄď¸The price of the lighting lane passes vary depending on demand. Even though you can add it to your ticket the day of, itâs better to purchase it in advance to lock in the price.
𼪠Outside food and drinks ARE allowed (yay for snacks!)
đŚ Water filling stations are located all around the park, so bring refillable water bottles.

âTravel as much as you want. As often as you can. Ride a plane. Take a train. Explore new places. Try new foods. Meet new people. Remember that there is so much more to life than repeating the same day over and over again.â
If you feel like youâre stuck reliving the same day over and over like âGroundhog Dayâ, prioritize getting outdoors, stepping outside your comfort zone, visiting someplace new, checking something off your bucket list, and trying something that scares you.
Travel changes you. We are not the same people we were a year ago, and Iâm grateful for the experiences we had this past year that have helped shape us. The people we met, the beauty we saw, the new foods we tried, the cultures we learned about, and the way the world opened our eyes.
You donât even have to travel far, many of our favorite memories were made by exploring our own backyard. Start smallâŚtake evening walks, go on Saturday hikes, try a new cafe, attend a local performance, plan a weekend roadtripâŚeven these small experiences will lead to big changes in your mental health and overall happiness.
Wishing you all the best in the new year! xo
One of my favorite views on the trip was the view of Phang Nga Bay from the infinity pool at. If youâre planning a trip to Thailand in 2026, I highly recommend visiting this lesser known area just north of Phuket and taking a longtail boat tour to visit different islands in the bay. Itâs an experience youâll always remember!

Many of the places we ate at also offered outdoor dining with the most incredible views. Here are some of our favorite spots:
đChantar Restaurant at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai: Beachfront dining with fire shows on select night.
đDalar Restaurant at Sametnangshe: My favorite restaurant view overlooking Phang Nga Bay.
đMountain Cafe at Chai Lai Orchid: Enjoy a delicious meal while elephants roam around at this elephant sanctuary in Chiang Rai.
đSaaitara Restaurant at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai: This Hillside restaurant offers amazing views over the bay.
đNobu Bangkok: Although the dishes at this rooftop restaurant are a bit more pricey, itâs worth it for the best dinner views in Bangkok!
