I was struggling a lot with lower back pain over the last few weeks, which made me feel not at my best in the days leading up to the gig. But daily exercises, a heating pad, and a good dose of adrenaline (I guess) did the job. I was in the zone right from the beginning and most of the nervousness was gone.
This club has given me so much over the past ~15 years, so it felt incredibly special to finally play on the Berghain floor.
I’m still speechless and it will take some time to process this experience.
I enjoyed it to the fullest, and all of your kind words after the set mean so much to me.
What a lovely crowd it was! That was the best birthday present ever.
