We had 20 minutes until closing so it was just us! Maybe next time we’ll catch some other littles. No admission fee and there’s a change machine on site. Each ride was 200 Yen. I think we’ll be back for this one with daddy!

I learned to make kimchi through a Maangchi cookbook about 4-5 years ago…and I’ve made it enough times that I’ve memorized and tweaked to my own liking:) it can be intimidating if it’s your first time making kimchi (just by looking at a recipe), because there are a lot of steps…but all the steps are so simple so really all you need is time 🙏🏼

Hokokuji Temple has a small but beautiful bamboo forest that you can walk through. You can also pay a little extra for a cup of tea to enjoy in front of the bamboo forest 😍 we didn’t get tea but maybe next time! We went around midday on a weekday and it was not crowded. If you make a trip to Kamakura, I’d definitely recommend!
