시간은 저물어가지만 매일 새롭게 태어나는 것 같습니다. 지난 한 해는 제 계획과는 다르게 흘러갔지만, 그래서 참 다행이었고 감사한 여정이었습니다. 아름다운 음악 뒤에는 보이지 않는 시간과 수고가 담겨있습니다. 2026년에는 더 많은 경험과 관계 속에서 풍성한 음악이 나오길 기대해봅니다.
With flat tires, engine issues, and parking tickets in Koreatown, my 25 year old whip’s been through a lot, thanks to me, a beginner driver who moved to the West Coast from NYC two years ago. I didn’t quite understand why I was out here at first, but my time here has taught me to go slow, take care, and ask for help. Coming to LA wasn’t about the destination.
This project was mostly recorded in one take, with minimal production tricks. It was an experiment to bring out the rawness in my songs and an exercise in trusting the process and not overthinking. This was only possible because of the love and support of the people listed in the credits.
Getaway is a new page in my next chapter. Thanks for tuning in and I hope you enjoy the ride.

For the first two shows, I will be backed by the three groovy souls whom I collectively refer to as The Lonesome Cowboys despite their yearning to be called The Goode Boys. (whichever sticks will remain as the un-official band name) This will be our final show of the year and we’re giving it every last drop of juice we got.
