Das Darmstädter Start-up Focused Energy hat sich diese Woche in einer Finanzierungsrunde über 200 Mio. Euro gesichert. Ziel ist das weltweit erste kommerzielle Laserfusionskraftwerk am ehemaligen Kernkraftwerksstandort Biblis.
Die setzt sich für Kernfusion und den Standort Biblis ein. Wer in Zukunft bei Schlüsseltechnologien vorne mitspielen will, muss Forschung, Entwicklung und industrielle Umsetzung heute ermöglichen.
Warum ist das wichtig?
Kernfusion erzeugt kein CO₂, benötigt nur geringe Mengen Brennstoff und kann große Mengen Strom rund um die Uhr günstig liefern. Zudem entsteht kein langlebiger Atommüll.
Mit Focused Energy und dem Standort Biblis spielt Hessen im weltweiten Rennen um das erste Kernfusionskraftwerk ganz vorne mit.
Diese Entwicklung ist erschreckend – und sie darf niemals zur Normalität werden.
💬 Für uns ist klar:
Wer Judenhass verharmlost oder wegschaut, gefährdet jüdisches Leben in unserem Land. Gerade Schulen und Hochschulen müssen Orte der Sicherheit und nicht der Angst sein.
Die massiven Fallzahlen zeigen: Hessen braucht jetzt entschlossenes Handeln gegen Antisemitismus – überall und ohne Relativierung.
Deshalb fordern wir einen hessischen Aktionsplan gegen Antisemitismus an Schulen und Hochschulen:

👉🏼 Besuche von KZ-Gedenkstätten
👉🏼 mehr Partnerschaften mit Israel
👉🏼 gezielte Fortbildungen für Lehrkräfte und Sozialpädagogen
✡️ Jüdisches Leben muss sichtbar, sicher und selbstverständlich sein – gerade im Alltag junger Menschen.
Unser Land muss sich verändern. Wir müssen Leistung endlich wieder honorieren, den Sozialstaat wieder zu einem sozialen Staat machen, unsere eigenen Regeln ernst nehmen, Migration begrenzen und Leitkultur einfordern. Mit diesen Forderungen haben wir als JU Hessen unseren Kurs für die nächsten Monate gesetzt. Für uns ist klar: Die Junge Union lässt sich nicht ihre Zukunft wegnehmen, wir erwarten noch etwas von diesem Land - und dafür kämpfen wir!
