La Alcaldía de Maracaibo, a través del Instituto Municipal del Ambiente (IMA), sancionó a un ciudadano quien fue captado, en flagrancia, lanzando desechos vegetales en plena vía pública.
Como Fari Yunis, titular de la cédula de identidad, fue identificado el hombre que estacionó su camioneta Mazda, de color blanco, placas A57AA4V, para bajar troncos y ramas de un árbol que había cortado en la avenida 15 (Delicias) con calle 71 a las 2:00 de la tarde de este martes 2 de agosto., informó el presidente del IMA, José Ángel Pérez, quien personalmente realizó el procedimiento con apoyo de Polimaracaibo.
Dijo que de inmediato Yunis recibió el llamado de atención y procedió a sancionarlo y a retenerle el vehículo por incumplir con la Ordenanza para la Gestión Ambiental del Municipio Maracaibo, en su artículo 14 numeral 1, que prohíbe depositar desechos de cualquier naturaleza en vías públicas.
Por esta acción contra el ambiente, Yunis es el primer sancionado con 10 petros, además otras infracciones que deberá cancelar por haber atentado contra el municipio, según lo establecido en la Ordenanza de Convivencia Ciudadana.
