You are sitting up for short periods using your arms to bear some weight. You are laughing and blowing raspberries and drooling all over the place. Haha!! You love to be outside, and get bored easily inside. You want to touch and eat everything in sight lol!

He is LOUD this kid (duh, heβs half Hispanic) and βtalksβ a tonβ¦. Heβs definitely our son lol!! π He is reaching for everything and grabbing hold of toys and teethers! He is eating and gaining weight like a champ!! Still loves momβs milkβso much so that he decided to refuse his one bottle of breastmilk a day (which he has been drinking since he was born) because he would rather drink straight from the tap π He loves books, his Oball, music, mornings, interacting with people, looking around at everything while front facing from the carrier I wear, and being held! He loves to be out and about, but he still hates the car seat if I am not in the back with him. Iβm trying to explain he needs to be chill in the car seat to get to the places he loves, but yah heβs not making that connection quite yet! π And lastly, he loves attention as you can see from these pictures and videos.π€He is all boy, but loves cuddles!
Weβre truly more in love with him everyday! What an honor to be a part of his life.

I had just found out I was pregnant and I was working night shift and two other part-time day jobs. I was optimistic about the jobs I was doing but I was also tired and looking ahead to how it would be possible to stay at home with our baby. Jordan was pursuing music full time trying to build something and take opportunities so he could take over with the provision piece. He wanted to find a way to make a living for us while doing music and I wanted him to get to live out his passion while providing for us.
We honestly didnβt know if that would happen, though, as time was ticking with the babyβs due date creeping up and nothing much financially happening on the music front.
EXCEPT Jordan was helping out Adam, his music mentor / lead singer for Sons of Legion, with content creation. He was blessed to be trusted by Adam and learn the behind the scenes of what SΓL was doing for the first half of 2025. Then when SΓL blew up in the summer, Jordan had already put in his time and built a solid reputation for himself. So they asked him if he wanted to start working for them officially.
On top of that, he had prayed EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. leading up to that moment for God to make a way for him to provide for his family. I really believe that his faithfulness in prayer and taking advantage of opportunities in front of him opened the door for him to TODAY - a year later - be given a bigger role within the band! One that allows me to stay at home with Mateo and one that allows Jordan to provide for his family while still pursuing music.
We couldnβt have written this story better if we tried. Our life has always been one built on taking steps of faith over years and years. We never know how itβs going to work out, but we trust the One who does know.
