I chose the McLaren 750S.
I wanted brand new. That alone kills most options.
Ferrari and Lamborghini both went hybrid and I'm completely out on hybrid. Not interested.
The 765LT was on the table, but let's be honest. Same engine. Same transmission. Slightly lighter. Different suspension tuning. Paying another $200,000 just to feel guilty about putting miles on it makes zero sense.
The Porsche GT2-RS was also a contender but it's also one of those cars I'd feel guilty putting miles on and I also want the next generation not a 7 year old car.
The Corvette ZR1 was also on the list, but paying $100,000 over MSRP is stupid. I don't need any car that badly.
After driving the 750S a few times, it spoke to me. It drives like a spacecraft. Raw. Precise. Violent in the right way.
The aftermarket support is insane. Getting it to 1000 WHP is relatively inexpensive, which makes it faster than pretty much anything else you can buy right now.
The STO is still coming, but that happens after we sell part of TECOBI. When that one lands, it's going straight to WHP. No warmup phase.
For now, the 750S was priced right, brand new, and the perfect project.
And let's be real. McLaren's lines are just hot. 🙄🙄🙄

There have been days where I questioned whether I made the right choice in only offering higher end cars to a limited client pool instead of going wide market like so many other people in the JDM game.
