I’ve been contemplating on making some very serious changes to the way I work. My goal is to provide the absolute best services I can for my clients. I aim to strive for excellence and to do that I myself have to be at the top of my game every single day I walk into the shop!
I can’t remember the last time I put myself before tattooing. I think this is because I confine in it so much. I have found my mental and physical health severely declining over the past several years now and I’ve always “sucked it up “ or dealt with it. I truly believe this is because I’ve put absolutely everything I have into my passion. This career will consume every fiber of your wellbeing if you allow it. And I’ve finally made the decision to no longer allow my work affect my mind or body negatively.
Going forward I will start to be more selective of the tattoos and projects I take on. Primarily focusing on full color neotraditional, black and grey realism, animal portraits, anime, black and grey illustrative, and traditional. I am very versatile so I can accommodate most styles but if I feel I am unfit for the project I will refer you to another local artist.
I will no longer be discounting any projects. I truly believe my pricing is fair for the quality of work I do. If you need to space out your appointments in order to make sure you have sufficient funds, I have no problem scheduling appointments further apart. If I want to continue to provide you with outstanding services I need to start putting myself first. I love tattooing and I want you to feel safe, comfortable, and confident while we are working together. The better I feel the better you’ll feel.
