Ending 2025 exactly where it began- 26.2 miles in Dubai.
This city, its culture, its energy…it’s no secret how deeply I love it. Life’s trials have a way of sharpening motivation, and running a full marathon here felt necessary, symbolic even.
Different from all the world marathon majors, but still finding its name, provides incredible weather, running alongside the, and a reminder that every race does not need noise to matter. Thankful to complete my Seventh International Full Marathon (Sydney x 2, Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, & London.)
What I didn’t know at the start of the year was that a trip as a tourist would turn into moving here- with my team & my company’s blessing- to pursue luxury real estate, bringing American investors to Dubai, and live out a dream I thought was years away.
Thankful for every high & low of 2025-They led me right here. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take 🇦🇪 ✨.

First in SEVEN years and it reminded me why this city hits different. I’ve run all the World Majors, but no crowd compares to NYC. The passion, the joy, the love across all five boroughs…unreal. Every borough roared, every cheer carried you forward & the bridges!?! Silent. Deafening. Sacred. But somehow just as loud.
Grateful for more moments with family ( blessed to have an extremely large family ❤️🔥), my day 1’s, college best friends who became family, Michelin star restaurants, Institutional steak houses, Joes Pizza, Broadway curtain calls & even staying at the elite runners hotel and even crossing paths with himself 🐐.
New York, you never miss. Always New York or Nowhere.

I am so grateful I had the opportunity to run Full Marathon #21 in unbelievable Sydney, Australia. From the atmosphere all week leading up to the race, to the many different ethnicities and run clubs that came together, to how hospitable the people of the city were, words can’t describe how amazing it was.
Running over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and finishing the race at the Sydney Opera House is insane.
This had been a goal of mine since accomplishing the Six World Marathon Majors in March while in Tokyo. Sydney is a strong candidate for Seventh Star and accomplishing this race allows for guaranteed entry when that takes place.
Been battling ankle injuries all year so to be able to push through and lock in another 26.2 miles is humbling and a blessing.

This Marathon Monday means the most to me. A few weeks ago I was able to accomplish a dream of becoming an Abbott World Marathon Six Star Finisher
⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This is the most prestigious accomplishment any marathon runner can obtain. Not only have I been chasing this since 2018 when I had the opportunity to run the NYC Marathon but I found out I was only the THIRD Haitian American 🇭🇹 to ever accomplish this feat in Abbott history!
These races are incredibly challenging to get into aside from being marathons themselves; they usually take years to complete. I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity and the health to get here.
Tokyo as an experience blew me away and I will always be thankful that my sixth star was able to be obtained here. They say 1% of the world’s population has run a full marathon. This is that 1% of the 1% 💫.
