I’m Jonas, a 26-year-old, German-based freelance photographer specializing in nature, wildlife, and landscapes.
I grew up in the green heart of Germany, the Thuringian Forest. I've been photographing since I was 12, I started with a little digital camera and then moved to a Nikon D3000. I now use a Z6.
After completing my apprenticeship as a pharmaceutical technician, I briefly worked in the Allgäu while also capturing the nature to build my initial portfolio. This spring, I graduated with a degree in industrial biology.
I've been lucky enough to travel and photograph in 28 countries so far. I've loved all of them but some of my highlights have been Norway, Canada, Italy, and Seychelles.
My guiding principle for photography is: „Your picture is your point of view, and each one is unrepeatable.“
