Training for aesthetics is not something I do in my personal life all the time, as I believe it does me more harm than good long term…
The best relationship I’ve found with fitness is shorter challenges, moving the goalposts between training for skill and training for strength. This is the product of consistent calorie deficit + exclusive bodyweight training for skill.
This might not be for everyone but my body certainly don’t respond well to longer periods of bulking OR cutting. I like to lean into whatever my body tells me it wants. I.e - my appetite a has been naturally lower during the scorchio weather we’ve been having in the UK. Working with people to find out how to work with the rhythms of their bodies is what makes me tick!
As fun as this has been, the northerner in me is BUZZING for excitement for pie and gravy season.
