Während Marguerite Manons Leichtfertigkeit mit einer gewissen Verachtung betrachtet, verfolgt Armand das Ballett mit wachsender Unruhe. 6 weeks after my reconstruction surgery, I was finally able to part ways with my medical boot and walk on my own two feet. What seems like such a simple thing that most of us take for granted every day, is a new challenge for me. Funnily, my daughter just started learning to walk on her own in June as well. �
I’m very grateful to have been told by my doctors that the recent scans show my Achilles is healing extremely well, and there is no longer a visible mark where my Achilles was surgically put back together. ��
For the time being, I’m using an insert in my shoes to give the Achilles a little extra support. But under the supervision of my therapists, I’ve started using this anti-gravity treadmill to begin giving my left foot and recovering Achilles a chance to be challenged and stretched. Lucky to be able to use this cool piece of tech.

Now more than two weeks post-op and officially in rehab mode! The day after I got my stitches out was day one at —massive thanks to my surgeon for setting this up in advance. They have such an amazing team here, I’m in expert hands.
What’s happening in the slides: 1️⃣ My physio started with baseline measurements and temperature taking—comparing my good leg (right) to the surgical side (left). 2️⃣ Then came an electric muscle stimulation massage to get that blood flowing. 3️⃣ 😱 That’s the swelling being worked up and out of my foot and toward my torso. Huge difference in just one session. 4️⃣ Finished with a cold compression boot (light squeeze for now) and a heat pack on my back to boost circulation and recovery.
Thanks everyone for your messages and comments wishing me well. This is the beginning of a whole new chapter. It’s not just healing — it’s rebuilding. Every day forward is one step closer to the stage again. Let’s get it! 💪🔥
