Die Sakura neigt sich langsam dem Ende zu, doch im Dorf steht alles auf Japan: Mit dem bevorstehenden Japantag rücken Kunst, Literatur und Kultur in den Fokus. Passend dazu zeigt die Ausstellung „間 | MA – Wo Form entsteht“ vom 8. bis 31. Mai 2026 im Rahmen der Japanwoche zeitgenössische Positionen aus Japan, die sich durch eine besondere Sensibilität für Material, Geste und Zwischenräume auszeichnen. Am 8. Mai findet im von 17 bis 21 Uhr ein gemeinsamer Eröffnungsabend mit Musik, Drinks und guten Gesprächen statt.
Die teilnehmenden Künstler:innen,,,,,, und zeigen Arbeiten, in denen Form nicht als abgeschlossenes Objekt, sondern als Zusammenspiel von Material, Rhythmus und Wahrnehmung gedacht wird. Zwischen feinen Stoffen, Zeichnungen, Holz und Keramik entfaltet sich im Kontrast zur massiven Architektur des Bilker Bunkers eine leise, reduzierte Präsenz. Im Anschluss an die Vernissage klingt der Tag bei einem Barabend mit DJ-Set von in der aus.

Was vorher ein Werkzeug war,
ist jetzt ein Objekt geworden.
Ich finde es schön,
dass sich diese Verbindung so ergeben hat

in meine eigene Arbeit übersetzen durfte
Der Ausgangspunkt war ein einfacher Gärkorb aus Peddigrohr.
Nichts Besonderes und doch genau das.
Diese feinen Linien, die sich um die Form legen,
gleichmäßig, fast beruhigend.
Und gleichzeitig nie ganz perfekt.
Beim Arbeiten daran habe ich gemerkt,
dass es mir weniger um die Form ging,
sondern um das Gefühl in der Hand.
Etwas Vertrautes.
Etwas Ruhiges.
