Iām Jess, Iāve just turned 28 and Iām from beautiful Northumberland in north east England. Iāve been producing art since I was around 16/17, despite almost failing my art GCSE! I am entirely self taught. This is not my full time career (although that is my dream, I just canāt take that risk right now) - I also have a full time job in the NHS. My art is all completed in my spare time on evenings and weekends, around my own pets, social life, and ā8 hours of sleepā (that doesnāt happen very often). I am a very VERY busy beeš this is the main reason my prices are a little cheaper than other artists of a similar style - I just donāt have enough hours in the day so I am admittedly much slower in production than others!
I grew up with cats, dogs and lots of horses and absolutely love animals. I understand wholeheartedly how important they are to us and become part of our family unit and, sadly, just how painful the hole is when they leave us. I pride myself on truly capturing their essence and character.
Iām aiming to branch out into photography in the next year in hopes of separate revenue streams making the full time venture a more realistic dream. I donāt have a partnerās income to rely on - itās just little old me against the world, trying to do what I love without burning myself out š¤£
