All I knew is that I loved clothes. So I started at the bottom working at a local boutique - I showed up every day - I never called in sick - worked holidays and weekends and said yes to a client that asked if I would come over and look at her clothes in her closet -saying yes- launched my entire career path - and began my in home styling business
I got good fast - I listened to what clients wanted- I delivered clients purchase to their homes and worked nights and weekends for decades - I guess you could say I have a strong work ethic but at the same time I didn’t have any choices - I did whatever it took to be successful - I spent my extra time stocking shelves at local boutiques - working as a manager than buyer than I eventually had my own boutique LYRIC
I steamed thousands of hours worth of clothes and kept my Client book my entire career- and many of those men and women I still dress today
That hunger for making it -that, I have to make this work no matter what - that, I’ll show up when no one would is what it takes to be successful -never give up - never give up
Go the extra mile - stay disciplined and dedicated to your craft and stay humble nothing happens overnight
