With the Christmas tassels it's with their concepts which I was shown last November.
.
I went away and produced a set of samples which involved sourcing the right materials and colours and designing the looks to fit the themes.
.
I then presented these to the Harrods team who came back with their feedback and any changes/tweaks they wanted to see.
.
This collection was produced very closely with the Harrods team. They know their customers best and there is a collaborative process to working with them.
.
Once the final edit was made and all the designs were finalised an order came through in early April for a July launch. 250 tassels in nine designs. Each style perfected in it's look and colour, and each tassel made to the same high quantity.
.
And, behold, the exclusive Harrods Christmas tassel collection, designed and handmade by yours truly. A combination of traditional passementerie skills and couture beadwork.
