Editing to add: Early movement milestones aren’t entirely luck, personality, genetics.
Babies need to be placed on their bellies OFTEN throughout the day (10 minute “tummy times” are not enough), and they need to be placed in open floor spaces that encourage crawling and movement, rather than enclosed playpens and cribs.
If babies are mostly kept upright in swings, bumbo seats, walkers, bouncers, loungers, etc., you'll naturally encourage hip tightness as well as just, a general preference for being upright... which will make floor time harder and will encourage scooting instead of crawling, and crawling is extremely important for brain development and shouldn't be skipped🌻
