Timeless, elegant, and full of tradition Jermyn Street does Christmas beautifully. 🎄✨

Start and end at Franco’s, where festive cheer and warm hospitality await.
We send our very best wishes to King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Royal Family this evening, as we hear the news that King Charles has been diagnosed with a form of cancer. We wish His Majesty a full and speedy recovery.
New & Lingwood Lined Velvet Dressing Gown

Ever since the 17th Century when the Dutch East India Company first started importing ‘banyans’, long loose garments cut from sumptuous fabrics such as silk or cashmere, the gentleman’s dressing gown has undergone a series of sartorial twists and turns.

Beloved by the likes of Winston Churchill, Noel Coward and Brian Ferry, it takes a certain panache to pull off this perennial wish list favourite. After all, when it comes to creating gowns that even the most retiring of gents would approve of, trust New & Lingwood to deliver. For over 150 years, the gentleman’s outfitters have been making sumptuous gowns by hand in England from a colourful array of bespoke prints.

This sumptuous velvet lined dressing gown is the newest addition to New & Lingwood’s collaboration with South African artisan collective Ardmore Artists. Featuring a solid green velvet base and a bold Camp Critters wildlife print, it oozes opulence and indulgence. Well, that’s the lounge lover in your life sorted this Christmas.

It always feels special to attend a service at St James’s Piccadilly, especially at this time of year, when the whole church is dressed so beautifully for the festive period.

The Associations’ Carol Service is a long-running tradition, and last night’s event was brimming with Christmas cheer as the fabulous Burlington House Choir warmed everybody with their beautiful voices.

Our thanks go to all in our community who attended, to those who gave their time to help organise the evening, and, of course, a huge thank you to the marvelous team at St James’s Piccadilly.

Thanks To:

A Patented Evening of Sheer Elegance

There are Oxfords, then ther are Oxfords from Crockett & Jones…And then there is ALEX, Crockett & Jones’ best selling Oxford

To add some context, Alex is a wholecut Oxford featuring a seamless forepart. The creation of a wholecut requires expert Pattern Cutters working ‘seamlessly’ with a highly skilled Laster.

Lasting is the process of pulling a leather upper over the very foundation of a fine shoe, a Last.
A whole piece of leather is a Laster’s worst nightmare and commands great care and attention.

Occassion Dress or Evening Footwear often have one thing in common; Patent leather. The quality of Patent leather varies enormously, as with any type of leather, to use the best you have to source the best, as they do at Crockett & Jones.

After seasons of casual daywear, autumn brings clothes to be seen in, as opposed to lounge around in, in which case you'll need the perfect pair of smart shoes to complete the look.
