mit etwas Abstand und Reflexion möchte ich nicht versäumen mich bei euch für die vergangenen fünf Jahre zu bedanken.
Es war eine brutal intensive Zeit mit vielen Höhen und Tiefen, die mich als Sportler und auch als Mensch sehr geprägt hat.
In Mannheim durfte ich großartige Menschen kennenlernen, die diesen Ort für mich zu einem zweiten Zuhause gemacht haben.
Mein besonderer Dank gilt euch Fans, meinen Mitspielern und dem Staff – ihr habt mich in guten wie in schweren Phasen bedingungslos unterstützt. Umso mehr freut es mich, dass wir die vergangene Saison gemeinsam zu einem guten Abschluss bringen konnten.
Jeder, der mich kennt weiß, dass mir der Waldhof in dieser Zeit ans Herz gewachsen ist und ich es immer genossen habe, das Trikot auf dem Platz zu tragen.
Dafür: Danke!
Nach reiflicher Überlegung über das Saisonende hinaus ist nun für mich der Moment gekommen, ein neues Kapitel aufzuschlagen und eine neue Herausforderung anzunehmen.
