A structured dusty pink Mikado bodice anchors the silhouette with couture precision and over 100 metres of mint tulle engineered in layers to create weightlessness, so she appears to float through the performance.
The shoulder is the signature: prismatic Perspex stars which lit from within and sculpted to embody “stars brightly shining.” Under stage lights they refract into shifting colour, creating a radiant halo that moves with her.

This birthday is especially meaningful, as I remember the woman who gave me life and who celebrated my birth every year with so much love and pride. Being the last of her eleven children, I’ve always carried the story of the day I was born close to my heart: on this day, Mum went to the doctor and was told to go straight to the hospital to give birth—but she went home first, finished putting up the wallpaper for our family home, and only then went to the hospital to bring me into the world. That was my mum —determined, loving, and always putting her family first.
Today, I celebrate her just as much as I celebrate my own birthday. Mum, thank you for every sacrifice, every moment of joy you brought into my life, and for shaping me into the person I am.
To everyone who has reached out: your words have lifted me more than you can imagine. Thank you for helping me honor my mum’s memory and making this day one of love, reflection, and gratitude.
