JHD is coming up on 6 years of business and I’m so grateful for all of it. It’s been a joy to get to share my love of meaningful design with so many wonderful families over the years. The heart of what I do is to create a backdrop for life that will enhance daily experiences in a way that feels so natural, it may not even be noticed. That’s wordy - but it’s the best way I can convey what “good design” means to me. Your home should be functional and practical, pleasing and beautiful. But what I really strive for is the idea that when a client thinks back on their home in 10 or 20 years, they think “gosh, I loved that house” for the warmth, comfort and ease it provided.
The other aspect of my job I’m incredibly thankful for is the flexibility it gives me to be a mom above all else! That said - please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested in working together. I may be a little more selective these days, but as long as we’re a good fit for one another, I’m accepting new clients as scheduling allows:)
