This morning, I woke up to rain in LA — the first in weeks. It felt like a quiet full-circle moment. It brought me back to a line that once inspired the song: “May the flowers remind us why the rain was so necessary.”
When I wrote Flowers, I was learning how to surrender — to the fear, to the fall, to the vulnerability of loving someone deeply. I didn’t fully understand it then… but hearing how this song has found its way into your lives over the years has meant more to me than I can put into words.
As I get ready to release new music, I’ve been reflecting a lot — on every step it took to find my way back here. The small wins, the setbacks, the people who believed in me when I needed it most. To everyone who’s supported me — fans, family, friends — thank you for holding space for me to grow.
Flowers was my first real offering. My first leap. My first “baby.” And I couldn’t be prouder of it.
