Through guided tasks and shared exploration, the sessions invite participants to discover joy in both dancing and witnessing others dance â nurturing community, awareness, and authentic connection through movement.

why do i smile..
the other day i saw a friend i hadnât seen in a while
and they had this smile
and said something along the lines of
âit always makes me happy when i see youâ
i donât realise it myself till they mention it
but sometimes iâm just smiling from ear to ear
and i canât help it
i get giddy and jump and skip around
its sad when any of us feel like we hold back on how we feel
on expressing ourselves
in showing emotions from fear of being judged
whether strange, weird, awkward, uncomfortable, undesired, boring, unattractive
i donât want to seem normal
for normal entailing to be just like everyone else, to look forward without wandering, to look at your phone and seem busy, to sit upright with your legs crossed and not move often
i want to wander
i want to sit forward in my seat and lean into my hands, for how excited i am, even though everyone else is sat back
i want to show my friends how excited and happy it makes me to see them and spend time together
i want to observe the sunlight on the leaves
i want to see my mum laugh and smile
