Wassail is an old heartfelt toast meaning “be healthy”. And the quintessential town of Woodstock, Vermont honors tradition in celebrating the coming of winter and the Holiday season every December! “This age-old greeting captures the essence of community and goodwill, especially in the cold embrace of winter” ❤️
What makes this weekend so magical is that the town of Woodstock is decorated all throughout with twinkling lights & christmas decor on every local storefront & historic home, there’s sleigh rides and horse drawn carriages, the wassail horse parade, the lighting of the yule log, christmas carols sung by the fire, a beautiful tree lighting, & so much more!! We got extra lucky with SNOW for our visit this year 😭☃️
We loved this weekend so much, we may just make this a yearly tradition of our own 🫶🏼
