When I first heard it on YouTube, it took me 3 separate times to get through it because I've been going through some tough emotional times and couldn't sit for very long. At first, it didn't capture me, but when I loaded the soundtrack into my car and listened while I was doing some long trips, that's when I got hooked.

I also have been playing Hades 2 at the exact same time, and as some of you may know, a lot of the same characters from Homer's Odyssey are in Hades 2 as supplementary characters, bosses and companions. I had the idea that I could take Hades' art style and combine it with Epic: The Musical. The characters that didn't have Hades counterparts I could just make up. The idea for the composition popped into my head immediately. I grew up loving those super detailed movie posters, and wanted to combine all those things into one.

This took me weeks. It's honestly the first piece that took me over 20 hours in a really long time since my chronic pain and brain fog got worse. But Epic and Hades is worth it - it's been helping me get through a tough time.

So I hope you all like it, and I hope you like all the little details I tried to put into it. There's lots of hidden little details and symbolism that I hope you can have fun poking through and looking it. And to answer future questions - yes, this is coming with me to conventions. It's a beast though, so it'll be in small supply. I'm going to be bringing 12 x 20 size prints and maybe a couple large poster sizes. We'll see if I can do it.
