May has been kind to me 🤍

Spent more hours working than the rest of the months combined and more time in the Volvo than any other location, but it’s good to be back.

I’ve pedalled a lot, published over 500,000 photos, spent time with friends, got the news I’m cancer free, and generally made the most of every moment I can.

June will hopefully be spent catching up on sleep.

I’ve felt more like myself than I have in a long time - work is busy, there’s a smile on my face and we’re doing good things.

It’s the same energy. There’s been no big changes or grand gestures. Just good humans and good memories. Times to look back on and remember fondly.

Life’s a mental journey, and everywhere I look, everyone is just doing their best.

If nobody told you this week, I’m proud of you 🫶🏽
Some weekend.

Finally got some sleep after running on fumes for 3 days and it’s slowly sinking in.

A team of 12 provided us with 163,000 photos for 10,000 athletes, spanning 300 miles over 2 days. I’d love to say it was smooth sailing, but it was one of those weekends where I just hit road blocks at every turn.

Tech issues, equipment issues, team issues - we had it all. But the people around me were the ever steady rock. Calm & supportive so it never felt too much. We found solutions when it felt like we were in the trenches, and laughed every moment we had chance.

Seeing the wave of Two26 images that ripple across our small corner of social media is always a warming thing. I started on this journey to bring high quality content to more people, and it’s always great when I see people able to purchase a great combo of photos and capture those special memories. We’re always improving and trying to be better every time.

Thanks to everyone that continues to support the brand. From buying shots to grabbing me coffee or stopping me for a quick chat. It’s the people involved that keep me fuelled through the sleepless nights & the torment of a race weekend that’s all going south.

And of course, the race directors that continue to show support through it all.

Life feels full send at the moment. Back working 7 days a week and trying to cram life in between, while also make time to ride my bike. But I’m enjoying every moment I can, and grateful for every opportunity.

Life’s too short not to get stuck in.

See you at the next one ✌🏽
It’s been a minute.

Can’t remember the last time I put together a set of marketing photos at an event and thought “yeah nice”. I’m forever tinkering & criticising. Wishing I’d been further up the road or half a step to the side. Dwelling on the shot with the slightly off composition or the athlete I missed.

This weekend it just flowed nicely again. I didn’t overthink it or worry, just floated from place to place making what I could and then promptly moving on.

Over the last months I’d really lost my mojo with triathlon photography. Questioning whether it’s still for me and whether it aligns with my new values.

But after this weekend with all the brief interactions, quick coffees & smiling faces. The ice creams in the sun and the laughs about the day. The small compliments about the team and our work, I remember the reason I started out on the journey “many” years ago.

We’ve got a hectic summer lined up, but I’ll just be out there having fun & making some stuff.

If you see the army of people in blue (or pink) - give us a wave.

Next stop: Nottingham.
This is it.

One chance. One life. One shot.

These are some of the moments that have been making me smile in the last few months. And some of the people that accompany them.

The times I treasure and the people I love.

It’s often so easy to whistle through the days without stopping to look around. Easy to overlook the fragility of life. Easy to miss the special moments or the special people.

I’ve always tried my best to enjoy every moment, and try to keep smiling and moving forward, even when the world feels heavy.

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of Vic & Sam. Along with the accompanying emotions. And I often hope that I’m making them proud. That I’m carrying them with me in all I do. Staying positive and happy. Gentle and kind. To not swear the small stuff, to make the world a better place and to enjoy my time in it. As they so effortlessly did.

Currently, life for me is returning to something more “normal”. A busy work season looming, trying to navigate tearing round the UK while making space to see the faces that bring me joy. And of course ride my bike. I’ve been spending a lot of time split between Leeds & Cardiff, whilst on the road shooting for the clients that have looked after me so well over the last few years.

And I’m still trying to tell the stories and the jokes. To revisit fond memories that we share. To look after those around me, as they too take care of me.

The world is uncertain, life’s too short not to enjoy ourselves.

Be gentle out there! 🫶🏽🤍
A week in my camera roll 📸

Riding the wave of life with all its ups & downs.

I’ve been trying to stay slow and present. Enjoy each day. Enjoy the wonder in the world. The coffees with loved ones and the inspiring people I get to work alongside.

I’m grateful to be able to capture so many stories along my way. I meet so many interesting people, freeze a moment of their life in time then rush off on my path.

It’s a time of year that will forever hold a heavy set of memories. It’d be impossible not to think back to the this time last year, the things we were doing, the conversations we had & the people we had close. The brutality of watching a loved one die, mixed with some of life’s precious moments.

And yet, it feels like the world is a different place now, 365 days has brought with it a different lifetime. A myriad of new stories. The faces that remain around us are a little more bruised & hardened. Yet they have a deep appreciation for life that only the worst experiences provide.

I’m still doing my best to keep my chin held high and a smile on face. To support those I love and be there when they need me. To enjoy the simple pleasures & quiet moments.

To be the person I promised I’d continue to be.

Positive, gentle & kind.

To be the reminder, the magic is still out there, you just have to look for it. ✨
Thanks February 🦧✌🏽

It’s been a bumpy month, but the wheels are still rolling and I’m grateful to still be here.

A final month in the slow lane before work starts again next week. Plenty of bike miles & catch ups and minimal time at a screen.

I still can’t quite get my body right to think about any serious running. But I’ve now got some physical goals at the end of summer and they’re getting me out the door to exercise. I’ll forever remain appreciative to be doing anything at all.

Getting diagnosed with stage 1 skin cancer wasn’t on my 2026 bingo card. But, some minor procedures later, I’ll be safe, healthy and well. Grateful we caught it so soon, and yet another reminder of just how quick life could have changed.

Found myself yet again leaning on the wonderful support network that swarm around me every time they’re needed. The smiling faces and the quick jokes. The big hugs and the slow coffees. The walks in the park and dinner time chats.

February brought plenty of reasons to smile between the emotion.

Life is precious. Have fun. Get stuck in. Hold your people close and don’t sweat the small stuff.

Hoping I spend March pouring into the cups that regularly fill mine. There’s some bloody great humans around. 🤍

This too shall pass 🫶🏽
Another big day on the pedals, with a great set of humans, in one of my favourite places.

For me, it’s never been about how fast you are, how far you can ride or what you can do on two wheels. Nobody really care in the end.

It’s all about what you see and who you share it with. Where you go and the places you can explore.

It’s about moving and processing. Feeling good and thinking clearly. Learning about yourself and your friends.

Cycling has taken me to the far corners of the world and introduced me to some of my closest friends.

I’ve never been shy of a challenge and always enjoy an idea that seems fairly stupid. There aren’t many things that bring me more inner peace than a really long bike ride with a camera in my hand.

So a complete, 305km lap of Mallorca in the middle of January was the perfect way to kick off 2026.

Still got a lot of work to do to decide what’s next in the work & exercise arena, as well as a few more obstacles to overcome.

But, I’m feeling excited for what 2026 has in store, more is more.
Some year.

Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get the news that it’s the end. Maybe you won’t.

Maybe 2025 was your last full year. Maybe it wasn’t.

Maybe the people you love, don’t have as long left as you hope. Maybe they do.

Maybe, this gift of time that we all take for granted, isn’t so certain. Maybe it is.

Maybe I’m a stranger on the internet. Maybe I’m your best mate.

Maybe all this loss just happens to other people. Maybe your world fell apart this year too. Maybe it’s yet to come.

One thing is for sure. We get one shot. One attempt. One go. Until our clock runs out. Until our loved ones too, remember us in stories. The things we did, the people we helped, the lives we changed. The fun we had along the way. The people we shared it with, while they too, had their time.

So for 2026, make yourself a promise.

Don’t waste it messing around chasing something you hate with people that don’t add value. Don’t prioritise the things that don’t matter, or waste energy on things that won’t bring joy.

Don’t hold the grudge or moan that life is hard on you. Don’t let it simmer or fester or bubble. Don’t wait. Don’t sleep on it. Don’t leave the question unanswered.

Get out and chase it. Live it. Breathe it. Remember it.

Take the pictures and see the world and tell the stories. Love your people and tell it to them at every opportunity. Send the message and the voice note and the video clip.

Buy the flowers and watch the sunset and listen to the birds. Go for the opportunity, the adventure, the ambition. Slow it down and savour time. Feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Watch the trees blossom and seasons change. Walk home the long way, everything else will wait.

And it doesn’t need to be grand or earth breaking or awe inspiring. It’s actually really simple.

Be slow. Be present. Be honest.
Be positive. Be vulnerable. Be brave.

Because when you too, face the unimaginable. With the contentment of these things. You too will be able to do it with a smile on your face and the world at your feet.

You’ll know, you didn’t waste it. You’ll know, you took your chance.

Don’t wait for another reminder. 🤍
32 today 🎂

As I start my 33rd year, I’m reflecting on my last lap of the sun.

I’m unrecognisable from the boy I was turning 31. I’ve been navigating a storm I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. But I’m still here, and I’m still surviving.

Hopefully, it will be one of the hardest years I ever have to face. Yet, I’ve achieved so much and there are still so many beautiful moments to look back on, moments that I’ll treasure for the rest of my life.

I did my first exhibition.
Sold 150,000 images at 60 races.
We raised £65k for charity.
I cycled 15,000 new kms.
Grew as a human in ways I didn’t know possible.
Bought a house.

In a year where I lost everything, I’ve still made space to smile, to grow, to appreciate and to celebrate.

I’ve learned I’m both stronger than I thought and more vulnerable than I knew.

I’ve learned life is fleeting and precious. You have to love fiercely, you don’t get a second chance. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Tell them you love them.

I’ve learned the people in my corner are unrivalled. I have a sea of the most magic humans you can possibly imagine. They helped Vic get into a space where she felt at peace leaving the world so early, and have held me together since.

I’ve learned again and again value will never be measured in price. The memories are all you have in the end, and the people you got to make them with. It’s the lives you improve. It’s the friends that show up for you time and time again. It’s the laughs you have over the mundane and it’s the magic you can find in the ordinary.

Finally, I learned bravely isn’t always shown in huge acts of defiance or strength.

It’s in the small and the difficult, the day to day. Normal people winning unimaginable battles. It’s in showing up for others when you can barely show up for yourself. It’s saying the goodbye and the I love you. It’s in the Olive branch that you didn’t want to offer.

These are the things that make the good people the good people. The things that motivate and inspire me to be a better human every day.

So this year, it’s a slightly different birthday, but I’m the lucky one. I’m here to celebrate it. I have a tomorrow.

And I’ll drink to that. 🍾🥂
Usually by now I’m scrambling around trying to sift through the 150,000 images I’ve taken this year to find some good ones to put in a book or set aside for a rainy day.

This year we’ve spent hours picking & adapting the best ones to put on a wall in Leeds in this January.

Though these are just some 2024 images from winter & spring that may or may not feature (you’ll have to visit) - it’s been fun to flick through one last time.

January 6-26.. See you there?
