Wildflowers are blanketing the valley floors, fog is drifting through the forests, bears are emerging from the woods, and the vibrant greens are coming back to life.
Id say spring might be my favorite season to photograph.
My work has always been rooted in documenting whatās wild and real. And in a world that feels more and more artificial, manipulated, and disconnected from nature, I think sharing whatās real matters more than ever.

I always feel like I need to tell some kind of story with a post like this.
As if a pretty photo isnāt enough anymore. Like every image needs a lesson, a deeper meaning, or some perfectly wrapped thought for people to feel something.
But maybe thatās part of the problem.
Everyone has something to say.
Everything has to be explained.
Everything has to be turned into something.
Maybe sometimes we just need a little quiet.
To look at something beautiful and let it be enough.
I think Milford is one of those places.

The first photo is a lone aspen tree in the mix of pine trees.
how easy it is to feel like sometimes you just donāt measure up.
Thatās why Im sharing whatās real. Something beyond the polished photos and highlight reels.
Because life is more than highlight reels.
And maybe in sharing this, youāll find comfort knowing that weāre not in this alone.
What started as a hobby quickly became an obsessionāthe challenge of turning an ordinary moment into something people could feel.
The early years werenāt easy. I worked whatever jobs I couldāpaint crews, odd shifts, anything to scrape byāwhile pouring every spare moment into trying to make photography stick. I said yes to whatever came my way: weddings, senior portraits, anything that gave me a chance to keep going.
Photography has taken me from the mountains of North Carolina to the wild coasts of New Zealand, and even into the remote Alaskan wildernessāthrough seasons of uncertainty, burnout, and questioning my āwhy.ā
The road is still uncertain and winding. Most days I feel like Iām just trying to keep my head above water. But looking back on these 7 years, Iām grateful for every experience and the journey itās taken me on.
